There are no land claims so you can build anywhere and people can raid too so it can get wild. It supports both Bedrock and Java so more friends can play together.
It has player shops plus an auction house and duels if you want to make quick cash. There are custom enchants that are meant to stay balanced like 3×3 drills and lifesteal.
The world has custom terrain that still looks normal. PvE gets harder the farther out you go and there are random world events every 30 minutes that can help or hurt or just be weird.

The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the old 2014 style where you actually have to grind. There is no instant selling and you are not getting overpowered armor right away. Progress is not just one boring path. You can keep ranking up from A to H then reach Parole. After you max out you can prestige and pick how you want to push forward.
Mining is the classic grind with better mines and perks as you go. Fishing is a full custom system that can make good money and has special rewards and boosts. There is also a mob arena where you fight waves and bosses with group rewards and you earn money and shards by fighting.
