This server is called MinecraftOffline and it feels like a simple but really intense survival world.
You play normal Minecraft but there is a lifesteal system. When you kill other players you gain hearts and when you die you lose hearts. If you lose all your hearts you actually get banned so every fight matters a lot. New players get a one hour grace period so they do not lose hearts right away.
There are a few small plugins that make life easier. You can set a home with a command and teleport back to it. You can also send teleport requests to other players to meet up. There is a vote shop where you spend vote tokens on things like custom name colors and a custom MOTD.
Combat is very serious here. There is a plugin that locks commands during pvp and it punishes people who try to combat log. If you log out while tagged you get replaced by an npc that can be killed and it drops all your stuff. There is also a plugin that stops crazy movement hacks and one that cuts down really bad chat spam.
The server tracks stats like playtime kills and deaths and you get rewards when you hit milestones. Players can also vote to skip the night by using a simple command. Overall it feels like a stable European survival server with lifesteal and some quality of life features but still pretty hardcore when you fight other players.

VitaNova is a new semi vanilla SMP server that just opened and feels really fresh. The world is custom and a lot of it is still untouched so there is a ton of space to explore and build your own base.
The server uses some plugins that make normal survival more fun without making it super complicated. There is a fishing plugin called PyroFish that adds special fish with different rarities and there are fishing tournaments where players compete. There is also a Lands plugin so you can claim land and keep your builds and loot safe from people who try to steal.

This is a prisons server that is all about space and grinding but trying to feel new at the same time. It is made for players who like normal prison mines and ranks and prestiges and a big economy but still want something different.
The main thing here is the space theme. You mine and rank up like classic prisons but the whole setting is built around space. It is meant to feel fresh and competitive while still keeping the normal prison style that people already know.
There are custom interactive puzzles so it is not only mining in a straight line all day. You can think a little and solve stuff while you play. You can also team up using cells which are basically gangs. With your cell you try to climb to the top of the leaderboard together.

This is a hardcore Minecraft server where you only get one life and that is it. If you die you are gone forever so every move feels risky.
The server tries to stay mostly vanilla but it changes a few things to make hardcore feel better. The world will never reset so every build every ruin and every base you leave behind will always stay there. It feels like real server history because there is even a wiki that people use to write stuff down.
There are some custom features that make things more interesting. There are statistic leaderboards so you can see who is doing the best. Player heads drop when someone dies so fights actually leave trophies. There is also a way to turn off phantoms if you hate them.

XYZ Vanilla is a semi anarchy semi vanilla survival server that tries to stay really close to normal Minecraft but with a few tweaks to make it feel better.
It works on both Java and Bedrock so more friends can join together. The server runs on hard difficulty so mobs hit hard and survival actually matters.
There is no artificial world border and they do not reset the map so you can build long term and explore super far. Nether roof access is turned on so you can travel and build up there if you want.
Phantoms are optional because you can toggle them with a command. Only about 25 percent of players need to sleep to skip the night which makes playing with others smoother. The respawn radius around spawn is increased so players do not all pile up in the exact same block.
The server started on January 15th 2026 and it is recommended to play on the latest version to avoid issues.
The rules are pretty simple. No hacks or exploits no lag machines and no duping except they allow TNT carpet and rail dupes. Besides that you can pretty much play how you want.
