SableCraft is a small vanilla survival SMP that is starting up for the long run. It is not trying to be a giant public place that resets all the time. The whole idea is to grow a real community that stays together.
The server is meant for chill players who are respectful. Builders casual players and creators can all fit in. It also keeps things fair with no pay to win. It is not anarchy and it is not for drama.

Solaris SMP Chill Vanilla With Voice
Solaris SMP is a survival server that feels like it is trying to last. It is meant to be relaxed and more about building together than rushing everything.
It stays close to vanilla but it has some nice extras. There is proximity voice chat and the chat connects with Discord. You also get a live map and stuff like armor stand posing and mini blocks for building.
There is a separate creative planning server that uses Axiom and WorldEdit. For safety it has CoreProtect so grief can be rolled back.
The server runs on 1.21.11 and it is hosted in US Central Dallas so NA and EU players can join. The world is open and it gets pruned monthly. The economy is diamond based and the community votes on changes. Progression is slower paced and the vibe is chill with low drama.

There are no teleport commands. Travel is done with waystones around the world so moving around feels important and it pushes you to explore.
The server uses ValhallaMMO skills that level up while you play. There are also playtime ranks so the longer you are around the more you unlock. It has custom plugins made for the server like binbag for clearing junk and salvage for getting materials back.
SimpleVoiceChat is used so you can talk with proximity chat or groups. They do weekly events and they talk about changes before they happen. Staff also play on the server.

This server feels like a real world that just keeps going. There are no resets and it is all player built and player ran. The admins do not step in and you are supposed to handle things with the mechanics and your group.
You can reinforce your builds with Citadel so bases can be really hard to raid. Farming and mining are different too since some crops and ores only work in certain biomes. Crops can keep growing while you are offline and you can boost grow time with fertilizer.
Ores show up as you mine and better pickaxes help your rates. Different biomes and Y levels change what you find. Some resources are stuck to certain regions so players actually have to travel and trade.
There are snitches that alert you when someone enters your area. If someone keeps griefing there is a justice system with ExilePearls that can banish them to the End dimension. Rooted Realm is a survival server with a long term world that never wipes. It feels like semi vanilla and tries to make playing feel more rewarding for different kinds of players.
There is no random teleport. Instead there are custom portals that send you to set spots around the world and can take you back to spawn.
The economy is player run and uses diamonds as currency. There is also a shopping district called the market where people can set up shops.

Elysium is a small Java server with multiple worlds and it is looking for 18+ players. It used to be public back in 2022 then it closed at the start of 2024. Now it is back with a fresh server that reopened in early November. There are a few long time members that are 16+ but the future player goal is adults.
The server has three main worlds. Survival is on 1.21.10 with a 10k by 10k border and it uses mcMMO skills. It also has an online map you can open with the map command. Teleport commands are mostly off so it feels more vanilla and people use Nether roof travel instead. There is a shopping district near spawn with chest shops and diamonds as money.
Plots gives players 85 by 85 build spaces so your builds stay safe. You start with one plot and you can earn more by moving up build ranks. Creative is a superflat freebuild world for big community builds. You can build together if everyone agrees but griefing or changing someone else's build without permission is not allowed.
There is also a Hub world for getting around with spawn or hub commands. It has hangout spots and an amphitheater for community events. A second Creative world is locked behind build ranks so builders can show off in a more exclusive space. Rise of Kingdoms is a Bedrock realm that feels like a heavy RPG server where people build up kingdoms and live like a society.
You can join a kingdom and play along with the rules or you can go your own way and be a bandit or an anarchist who hates the whole system.
It uses add ons to make things easier and it has an economy system plus an RPG system. There are voice channels for people who would rather talk than type.
The realm is still pretty new and there are less than 10 people so far so it is a good time to start something and try to set up your own kingdom early.
