This is a Minecraft server that is part of a new hosting platform called ChunkPod. It is in beta so it is still being worked on but you can already make servers and test stuff.
Right now you can create your own server and upload plugins. There is a console so you can see logs and send commands to your server. It feels like a place for people who want to try hosting and give feedback while it is still early.

This is a technical Minecraft SMP called fatdove and it feels like a mix of a big YouTube style community and a serious engineering server. The owner clearly cares about performance and stability and wants the world to last a long time.
The server is whitelist only and for players who are 18 or older. People are expected to be respectful and work together. Hacked clients are not allowed but useful utility mods like freecam and other helpers are totally fine.
It runs Minecraft 1.21.11 using Fabric and is set up on strong hardware in east coast Canada. The whole thing is tuned to handle big redstone bases and crazy farms without turning into a laggy mess.

This server is called DaemoniaCraft and it is a survival RPG that is inspired by Solo Leveling. It feels like they really want you to grind and get stronger over time and actually feel your power go up.
The server has gates and dungeons where you go through portals and fight magic beasts and clear instanced areas. There is a class system so you build your own character with RPG style progression. You can get gear from E rank up to S rank by hunting and crafting and trading.
They also run Towny so you can claim land build towns and make big cities and fight for control of continents. There is a big Earth map with a 1 to 750 scale plus extra custom generated worlds.
The server says it is not pay to win so you have to earn progress instead of buying it. It is grindy but they say it is still ok for casual players so you can play at your own pace. There are events and group content like guilds and pve events and server wide activities.

MushroomSMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a big adventure world. There is no world border so players can explore as far as they want and find their own places to build and live.
The server is focused on staying close to normal Minecraft with only important plugins that help performance. It does not change the normal feel of the game. The owners do not ask for donations so you can just play and have fun without money stuff.

Chaos MC is a new Minecraft anarchy server that is trying to be as wild as possible. There are no rules at all so pretty much anything goes.
You can hack fight steal and grief. There are no land claims so every base can be found and blown up. People can start wars and backstab each other whenever they want.

PridenMC is a custom Minecraft network that is getting ready to launch. It is made from scratch and focuses on minigames.
The main thing I see is a LuckyBlock game mode. You break special blocks and get random events. Sometimes you get rewards and sometimes you get challenges. It feels very chaotic and fun.
There is a cosmetics system with glow effects tags and chat colors. Players also have profiles with stats in a GUI. The server saves data using MongoDB so your progress sticks around.

AuroraSMP is a survival multiplayer server that is built around competition and grinding over a long time. It is managed in a professional way and they are looking for active players before the server launch.

This is a server for adults only who want a calm place to play Minecraft. The community is 21 plus so there are no kids and way less drama. It feels pretty relaxed and people seem to just chill and build.
The world has been running for about four years with no map resets. Because of that there are some huge builds and long term projects that keep growing as the map expands with each update. It is a normal difficulty survival world with Java 1.21.10 and a few quality of life plugins.
There are separate resource worlds for the overworld the nether and the end. Those reset every week so the main world can stay nice while you still have fresh places to mine and explore.
