OzAnarchy is an Australian hosted anarchy server and it actually has two different worlds to pick from so it feels pretty cool.
The main anarchy server started at the beginning of 2026 and it has no anti cheat and uses some custom plugins that do not really break the game. Right now it even has an item dupe that is only on for a limited time and there are vote dupes that stay with a playtime multiplier. You can use commands like tpa to teleport after a short timer and stats to see first join last join playtime kills and deaths. There is also a vote points system with balance and pay plus a suicide command and a tps bar so you can see how the server is running. It is meant for people who like chaotic gameplay and do not care about cheating.
There is also a second server called OzAnarchy Vanilla that you join from the main server menu. This one has anti cheat and anti xray so it is for players who want a fair chance and hate hacks. It still has stats and the tps bar but no teleport command no dupes and no suicide command so it feels more like normal vanilla.
On both servers there are no rules and you can basically do whatever you want and just have fun however you think fun should be.

I found a Java SMP that is adults only and it is in season 2 right now. It is still early to mid game so you are not super behind.
It is vanilla survival and it is meant to be long term with seasons. They keep the mods minimal and it is mostly just quality of life stuff.

CaveMC is a semi anarchy survival server with enhanced vanilla gameplay where the entire overworld is underground. There is no surface at all so you live in a huge cave world with biomes resources and structures.
It has custom world generation made by real Minecraft developers and it is meant to be brutal. You have to be smart and tough to survive and keep your stuff.
Season 2 is out with a fresh start and new additions. A big update is the Wasteland Dimension which opens on November 8th. It adds new gear to fight over mega structures with secrets and a unique currency that creates its own player driven economy and trading. I found a modded hardcore Minecraft event that is built around a 7 day apocalypse story on one island. Everyone spawns together so it starts loud and chaotic and you have to figure out who to trust.
Day 1 is normal survival and you just prepare. Day 2 brings a blood moon so nights get way more dangerous and mobs feel stronger. Day 3 is eternal night so the sun never comes back and creatures can carry weapons.
Day 4 has meteors hitting the island and something starts spreading. Day 5 turns it into a dead world where crops barely grow and food gets scarce. Day 6 is rising waters and the ocean slowly floods the island. Day 7 is a tsunami and there is basically nowhere to run.
It uses a one life system. If you die players get 60 seconds to revive you and if it fails you are out. You need a microphone and you need to be able to install mods using CurseForge or Modrinth. I found a server called Orbital SMP and it has been running since October 25. It usually has around 20 players so it feels active but not crowded.
It is almost like donut smp but it is more chill with less raids and less players. There are lootdrops every weekend so you always have something to look forward to.

EchelonMC is a custom survival server on Minecraft Java. It is made for long term building and teamwork. It is not trying to be a sweaty PvP place and it is not about stealing or griefing.
It is hosted in Canada and it has been in active development for about a month. Java 1.21.11 is recommended and older versions are supported too.
The server has custom coded systems and it avoids pay to win stuff. It gets patches a lot and changes are shaped by player feedback so it can grow with the community instead of feeling disposable.
You can make paths just by walking and you can get speed bonuses when you use them. There is a currency called Echelites you earn by playing and you can spend it on progression utilities and quality of life.
Land claiming is advanced with visual borders and per chunk settings plus anti grief protection and controls for things like mobs TNT fire spread raids and fluids. You can publish builds as public chunks so people can visit and you can earn rewards from visitors and climb build rankings.
There is a teams system with invites shared utilities and custom team nametags. Deaths make timed graves for your items and there is a back command to help you recover after teleports.
