The whole season is built around four ancient maces that are hidden in the world. They are super powerful and whoever finds them can change how the server goes. Because of that players form alliances and rival groups and it feels like everyone is trying to outplay everyone else.
People make empires and bases and then those empires can fall apart fast. There is a lot of conflict and drama and it is not really a chill place. It is more like a server where you go in expecting fights and big moments.

Renegade SMP is an 18 plus Java survival server that feels like a long term world with friends. It focuses on community creativity and exploration so it is not about rushing or grinding all day.

This is a small vanilla survival server with no cheats and no weird stuff. It is just normal Minecraft like the base game.

This is a semi vanilla SMP called FolksMC. It feels like a small tight group that wants more people to join and help shape the server.
The main thing here is factions. The history of the server is all about different factions and what they did. There can be wars between factions but they are done in a way where people still have fun and stuff does not get wiped out into nothing. Right now there are only a few factions so there is room for new ones.
You can make your own faction with friends or join one that already exists. If you do not want any of that you can also play solo as a nomad and just do your own thing.
The server is semi vanilla with a couple of simple plugins. There is home so you can set two homes and there is spawn. When you die a gravestone plugin keeps your items safe in a player head. There is a timber style plugin so cutting trees is way faster and cleaner. You can sit on stairs slabs and other blocks. There is also a minecart plugin so you can travel on rails without using powered rails.
From what I can tell the server has been running since August last year and it is still going strong. It looks like a chilled place for people who like survival factions and simple plugins without crazy extras.

SnowFallSMP is a small whitelisted Minecraft server that feels like a close friend group. The community is 16 plus and they want people who like to hang out and play survival together.

This is a Bedrock realm called Ruins Legacy Realms and it just started a new season so everything feels fresh. The world uses a 1 to 4000 earth map with normal Minecraft structures and biomes so it feels like playing on a huge version of the real world.
You can claim your own land and stay peaceful if you want. You can just build a base or a city and focus on cool builds. Or you can start wars fight other people and do PvP. You can also do both so builders and pvp players can all find something fun here.
The realm is mostly vanilla so there are no crazy laggy addons or big mods. It feels like normal Minecraft which makes it simple and clean to play.
There are rules so things do not go totally insane but the rules are chill and there is still a lot of freedom. It is made for people who want a mix of building and fighting without too many extra plugins.
