People build towns and set up shops and the economy is fully run by players. Somehow it is still really chill and not chaotic even with all the new stuff happening.
There are custom bosses that players team up to fight. There is also fishing and bug catching plus arcades and other side activities. They even added furniture and building upgrades and they run frequent events and giveaways.
