PurpleSMP is a small chill survival server made for people who want to build and explore without stressing about griefers or cheaters. It runs on 1.21.11 and it is more relaxed than most servers.
It has mcMMO skills so grinding feels good and there is a daily double XP hour from 6 to 7 PM EST so new players do not feel behind. PvP is off by default but you can toggle it if you want to fight your friends.
Builds stay safe with land claims and the server logs blocks placed and broken. Staff can also check backups when you join or leave and when you die so lost stuff can be restored if a rule was broken.

I found a brand new Minecraft Java SMP that is trying to build a real long term community. It is survival with a semi anarchy vibe so you can fight and make rivals but it is still meant to feel fun and not super sweaty.
It runs on Java 1.21.1 and it is hosted in the EU. The server is for ages 13 to 17 and everyone starts fresh in a new world.
It has Lifesteal so you gain hearts when you eliminate other players. It also uses Simple Voice Chat so you can talk in game. There are nice extras like shift click villager pick up infinite villager trades player head drops and gravestones so your items stay safe when you die.
