Chilltown SMP is a survival server that feels really friendly and relaxed. The community is very inclusive and people seem to like hanging out together. Most players enjoy going on adventures and building cool stuff.

Luminary Falls is a really chill Minecraft survival server made for adults. It is whitelist only and the community is 18 plus. People are from all over the world so there are players online pretty much all the time.
The server is a long term SMP with a cozy and story rich vibe. It uses quality of life plugins and datapacks that keep it close to vanilla but still make things smoother to play. There is no pay to win and no unfair perks.
There are separate resource worlds so the main world does not have to reset. That means your builds can last for years. The staff has a lot of experience running servers and they try to keep the place uplifting and welcoming and LGBTQ plus friendly.

So I found this server called GeoSMP and it is a new Vanilla Earth style world. The map is based on Earth and you can make your own towns and build up with other people.
The server is pretty fresh so you can get a nice start and not feel super behind everyone else. It feels really balanced and not pay to win and that makes it more fun to just play and explore.
The owner and staff worked really hard on it and you can kind of tell when you run around and see how everything is set up. They are trying to grow the community and want players of all ages to join and hang out.

Enderrock SMP is a Hermitcraft inspired survival server that is made for players who are 21 or older. It has been running for about three months and the community feels active and really friendly.
The server is vanilla style with some small tweaks that you mostly will not notice. There is a permit based shopping district where players use diamonds as money so you can build shops and trade with other people.
There is a future game district planned plus optional community events and builds. All building styles and all skill levels are welcome so you do not have to be a pro to join.
