A Minecraft Java server with the perfect blend of vanilla experience enhanced by QoL features and exciting datapacks such as crafting tweaks, additional structures, improved advancements, and more!

Our greatest inspiration is the Hermitcraft server, and we put a lot of focus on fostering a tight-knit community. Whether you’re a seasoned builder, competitive fighter, humble farmer, or simply looking for a place to call home, Onyx SMP offers something for everyone.

Our server has an array of enticing features! From special districts (think shopping, minigames…) to monthly building challenges, quests, special events, and even an MCC-inspired championship!

Rules

  • Be kind and respectful, this is a place where people are meant to feel safe and welcomed. Basically, don’t be a dick.
  • No stealing, griefing, cheating, or abusing exploits. With our plugins we can revert any damage and catch the culprit, meaning there’s no way people can get away with it.
  • To be able to join the Onyx SMP you must own a Java version of Minecraft, speak English, and be over 17 years old.
  • No big mob and redstone farms, this is not a technical server, and we wish to retain a stable economy.

    QuackCraft Semi Vanilla SMP Java Bedrock

    QuackCraft SMP is a hermitcraft like semi vanilla survival server that is open to join and not whitelisted. It tries to stay close to a real vanilla SMP even though it is a public server.

    There is a community shopping district so players can set up shops and trade stuff. The community is said to be friendly and PVP is optional so you can focus on building and surviving.

    They also run fun community events. The server is on version 1.21.11 and it is backwards compatible.

    Hallowed Vale Modded Lore Roleplay

    Hallowed Vale is a modded Minecraft server with longer progression and a big focus on roleplay and lore. The world has continents and the lore connects to lots of parts of the server so it feels like you are inside a story.

    Players can pick from a bunch of custom origins and there are 17+ options listed like Aqualian Abysstouched Vulpine Cervan and Starling. The roleplay is interactive and player actions can change the lore which makes choices feel important.

    The server uses mods like Create and Origins plus dungeon and exploration mods. It also includes Cataclysm Integrated Dungeons and Structures Dungeons Enhanced Ice and Fire and more so there is always something to fight or explore.

    They run weekly events with stuff like among us uno and poker. There are kingdoms custom quests crossover events with partnered servers and active staff that helps out. They also do constant updates and add requested mods from players.

    This server is about surviving a modern apocalypse and it has a heavy horror vibe. It feels like the world is falling apart and something way worse than normal mobs is growing and trying to wipe everyone out.

    The community is run through Discord and you join by grabbing the Java server role and reading the rules. Rules seem important here so people know what is expected before they play.

    It is opening March 14 on Saturday at 11am EST so it is a fresh start for anyone who wants to jump in early and try to survive with others.

    EchelonMC Custom SMP Built To Last

    EchelonMC is a custom survival SMP that is built for long term building and teamwork. It is not trying to be a PvP chaos server and it is not for stealing or griefing. It feels like the point is to grow a real community world that keeps moving forward.

    The server runs on Minecraft Java with 1.21.11 recommended and older versions supported. It is hosted in Canada and it has been actively developed for about a month with frequent patches. It also says it has no pay to win.

    A big part of the server is custom coded systems made for this world. You can create paths just by walking and you can get speed bonuses on them and it is toggleable. There is also a currency you earn by playing that you can spend on progression and useful quality of life stuff.

    Land claiming looks serious with visual borders and per chunk settings plus protection options like TNT fire spread raids fluids and mob controls. You can publish public chunks so people can visit builds and you can earn rewards from visitors and climb build rankings. There are teams with invites shared utilities and team nametags plus graves and /back to help you recover items after deaths and teleports.

    It also has voting rewards discord linking and a chat bridge a spawn hub with custom NPCs and utilities and anti x ray protection. The features and balance are shaped by player feedback so it is meant to change with the community.

    Infinite Islands Boss Fights Forever

    This server is about infinite islands that never reset so you can keep growing your space forever. You can start an island and stick with it long term or make a new profile if you get bored then swap back anytime.

    There are custom cave systems with multiple levels. The ores regenerate so mining stays worth it. You will also run into custom mobs and bosses so it feels like you always have something to fight.

    Fishing is a big deal here with over 100 unique textured fish to catch and collect. There are also 60 fishing mobs to hunt.

    Progress is guided by hundreds of quests. There are seasonal payouts so you can compete for leaderboards or just play casually. They are also recruiting staff so joining early matters.
