Bastion SMP is a fresh semi vanilla survival server made for adults who want a world that actually sticks around.
It is run by a 25 year old software engineer who handles the hosting and says the world file will stay safe and the server will stay up.
The server is whitelisted to keep griefers out and it is strictly 21+ so it stays mature and chill.
People vote together on quality of life stuff like home and tpa and the goal is to keep the core Minecraft feeling with basic anti grief help.
Rules are simple do not grief do not steal do not hack and do not be a jerk.
CanvasMC is a Minecraft server you can hop on and play.
The post does not really explain modes or features so it feels like a simple join and see what is going on kind of server.

NostalgiaCraft is a vanilla style SMP that feels like the old days where you just play with friends and build whatever you want.
It has rules against griefing and there is a protected spawn with active staff. The world has been running since 2020 and they say there are no resets so your builds are meant to stick around.
The map is huge with a 300k by 300k world. They keep it running smooth and talk about staying at 20 TPS on dedicated hardware.
The economy stays simple with player shops and trading and no plugin money. It is mostly vanilla plus with a few quality of life commands like sethome spawn and toggling phantoms.
You can join on both Java and Bedrock and it is updated to 1.21.11. They also use a graylist system so you can join fast but spawn is the safest area while the rest is normal survival with no griefing allowed.
Campfire SMP is a chill survival server that keeps things mostly vanilla and focuses on community and creativity. It feels like a place where people build cozy homes and go exploring together.
The server runs on the latest Java version and it updates with each patch. It also supports Java and Bedrock so more players can join.
There are usually at least 10 people on every day. It has light quality of life stuff like sethome but it still aims for a true vanilla feel. The community is meant to be friendly with fair rules and you have to be in the Discord to play.
I found Banana Sandwich SMP and it is on Season 3 and it feels like a stable survival world now. They said they are about 1.5 months into the season so the early scramble is over and there is already good infrastructure.
It is Java 1.21.11 and proximity voice chat is required which makes it feel way more alive. The economy is diamond based and there is a busy shopping district plus a safe hub on a Mushroom Island.
The vibe is 18+ and more mature and chill and collaborative. They also use Bluemap so you can see the world change as people build.
They have some fun extras like invisible item frames custom armor stands and you can sit or ride too. It is zero pay to win and they said the dragon will drop elytra so it stays fair for everyone after the end opens in two weeks.
