This server is called TerraTrove and it is a vanilla SMP made only for players who are 18 or older. It has been running since 2023 and they are starting Season 5 on January 24 2026.
The server is made for adults who like Minecraft but do not have time to grind all day. It feels cozy and relaxed. It is the type of place you join after work or school to chill out. You can build and explore and make a home without worrying about random griefers or people speedrunning past you.
From what I can tell the staff actually moderate the server and keep it drama free. The community is meant to be social so players actually talk and get to know each other instead of vanishing into giant solo bases. They care a lot about community and collaboration and keeping the vibe friendly.

GildedAbyss is a new modded SMP that is all about the community and how everyone interacts with the world. The first season starts really soon and the timing even depends on how many people join so it feels like we are all part of the launch.
The world has tons of cool biomes to explore because it uses big biome mods to make everything look fresh and interesting. There are special items you can earn with certain methods so it feels rewarding when you figure them out.
You can choose an in game race called an Aspect and use that to your advantage which makes everyone feel a little different when they play. There are extra ores and new tools and weapons so early and late game progression both feel more fun.
The Create mod is also on the server so you can build machines and contraptions as long as they stay reasonable. The owner wants suggestions from players and is planning a lot of events before and after opening so there should always be something happening.
The server is whitelist only and you get in through a ticket system where you talk to the owner or a moderator. If they think you fit the server style you get added and can join the community.

This is a hard mode survival server that is all about diamonds and trading. Players run a diamond based economy and try to reach the top by trading wagering and even sabotaging each other. It feels kind of like those big economy series you see online but with regular players.
The gameplay is close to vanilla with a vanilla plus feeling. There are only minimal mods and some data packs that are meant to be quality of life. Stuff like land protection and basic commands such as home and back are there so you do not lose everything for no reason. The rest is just normal hard mode survival.
The community is focused on free speech and open trade. There is limited moderation so people can talk more freely but there are still staff who keep things from getting totally out of control. Most players seem skilled and serious about survival and the economy but they are also welcoming to new people.

Stonehaven SMP is a small chill Minecraft server that just got a fresh reset and is trying to grow a friendly community. People join and play at their own pace and most just like to build talk and hang out together.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric and it uses only a few quality of life mods. There is in game voice chat so players can talk while they play. There is land claiming so your base is safe and you can even fly inside your claim which makes building big projects a lot easier.
The world has upgraded terrain and structures so places like the Nether the End villages mansions temples strongholds and more feel new and different. Trees can be chopped down in one go. There are backpacks decorations furniture custom bridges doors and windows. There are also waystones and towers to help with traveling and chests around the world restock after some time.
Players can build alone or make new friends or even try to speed run. The whole point is to have a relaxed place to play and the owner is open to adding more mods if the players ask for them.
