Lunar Falls is a Minecraft SMP for adults who are 21 or older. It feels very relaxed and friendly. People join to play survival and also to make friends and build cool stuff together.
The server is semi vanilla on 1.21.10 using Fabric. It feels like regular Minecraft but with some quality of life datapacks. You do not need any mods or resource packs to join. There are no paid ranks and no fly or tp commands so the world feels fair.
Some annoying things are turned off like fire tick phantoms and enderman grief. There is a live map with BlueMap so you can see the world from a browser. There is also an optional light resource pack that adds fun custom textures like food drinks and hats. Simple Voice Chat is optional too if you like talking in game.
The server uses diamonds as the main money and has a player run shopping district. There are regular events community build projects and challenges so there is always something to do with others. You can still play solo if you want but the vibe is very community focused.

MineScape is a Minecraft server that tries to feel like Old School RuneScape inside Minecraft. It plays like an MMORPG and not just a normal survival world. You join and start your own adventure and slowly level up and explore.
The server has custom npc characters and custom mobs that you can interact with. There are real quests you can follow. It also has a lot of different skills like attack ranged magic woodcutting mining smithing crafting and more. The whole map looks hand crafted so it feels like a real world and not just a random seed.
There are clue scrolls that give rewards when you solve them and there are daily rewards too. You can collect pets and cosmetics and titles so you can show off your progress. There are active leaderboards so you can see who is the strongest or the most skilled.
The server has its own main plugin and a dynmap plugin. There are rules posted so the gameplay stays fair and everyone knows how to behave. The community is built around adventure and grinding skills and making friends while you play.

AvalonEarth is a Minecraft earthsmp server where players make nations and fight or live in peace. The world map is scaled 1 to 500 so there is a lot of space to claim land and build cool countries.
The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a big deal. Anyone can start a nation because you get starter money when you join. You do not have to grind first or meet player requirements just to make your own place.
The first season started in September and it built a pretty strong community. Now the second season is running and a lot of new players are joining and creating fresh nations.
There are wars and conflicts for people who like pvp and strategy. But if you do not like fighting you can still live a quiet life and usually stay out of wars and just focus on building and chilling.

This server is called uSurvive and it feels like a version of Minecraft that went in a different direction but still feels like normal Minecraft. It is survival but the whole thing is built around playing with other people and having fun together.
There is a custom claiming system so you can protect your builds in the overworld and not worry about griefing. It is not the usual golden shovel stuff. You can just focus on building and making cool bases.
There is also a custom dimension called the Abyss. It is like a toxic fungi wasteland with special mobs and outposts. You can fight dangerous enemies there and go for strong loot if you want more challenge and combat.

I found this server called BluMoon SMP and it is just a simple vanilla place. It is running Minecraft 1.21.11 and there are no mods at all so it feels like normal Minecraft.
The server is whitelisted so you have to apply on their discord before you can join. That makes it feel more safe and more chill because random people do not just pop in.
The vibe is super relaxing. It is meant for players who just want to hang out and play survival in a calm way. There is a lot of open space on the server so you can pick a spot and build without feeling crowded.
It starts up on Friday at 12 PM Mountain time so everyone can kind of hop in together when it opens. If you like low drama and just playing Minecraft to relax this server seems like it fits that style.
