Nation States is a semi vanilla server that uses the towny claiming system. The whole idea is to build nations and not just random bases. Players are pushed to make politics trade and war with each other.
The server is all about roleplay and lore and cool conflicts between players. The owner wants people to actually act like they are in a nation and not just grind alone. If you ignore that spirit and just ruin the experience you will probably get removed.
The theme is early antiquity so it feels like playing in an ancient world. There is a custom map that is about 5k by 5k so it is not too huge but still has room for different nations.
From what I can see the community is meant to be competitive but still focused on fun and interaction. It is for people who like nation building and diplomacy and serious roleplay more than just pure pvp or pure survival.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that really focuses on community and creativity. It feels like a chill place where people actually stick around and build together.
The economy is all about diamonds so players trade and shop using them. You can make your own shop and there is a shop menu that lets you browse stuff really fast. There are ranks and vote rewards too so you get perks just by playing and supporting the server.

NvizionMC is a small crossplay SMP server that feels really relaxed and friendly. It has been around for about a month and there are around 15 active players each day so it never feels empty but it is not crowded either.
The server is survival with a simple economy. You can rent chest shops at spawn and sell stuff to other players which is cool if you like trading. There is a server shop too so your voting money actually matters.
There is RTP so you can teleport out and find a place to build fast. Claims make it easy to protect your base right away so you do not have to worry as much about people breaking your stuff.

This server is called Cobblemon Eterna and it is being built from scratch right now. It is all about Cobblemon and a big long term project.
The world is based on Kanto and Johto and the regions are being hand made instead of random terrain. There will be an RPG style story with quests NPCs and lore so it feels like a real adventure.
The server is also making a custom ranked PvP system called the Zenith League. It uses Elo and divisions and has weekly champions so players who like battling can really try hard and climb.

Outercraft is a modded SMP server with a medieval high fantasy world. It is survival and it has optional roleplay so you can just play like normal or get deep into stories with other players.
The world feels like man versus nature. Seasons change and the land can be harsh. You explore big continents and lots of different biomes. There are magical creatures and ancient threats and also other players trying to survive.
