I found a server that is starting a new season but it keeps the same world from last time. That means you spawn into a place with old builds and leftovers. You can explore and find roads or ruins and decide to finish what someone started.
It is vanilla plus on Fabric. It is meant to feel open ended with no handholding. There are no land claims and there is no economy plugin.
It uses Xaeros Minimap and it has a Dynmap you can view in a browser. There are building focused block mods for more detail options. It also has Friend and Foe.
