    Crafting is changed with extra recipes like turning rotten flesh into leather and making name tags. The Eye of Ender recipe is harder so getting to the end takes more work.

    Griefing is banned and creepers do not break blocks so your builds stay safe. You can also vote to unlock crates and win items. There is a better mending system too where you crouch and right click to repair tools using your XP bar.

    I found PurpleSMP and it feels simple but still polished. It is a PVE survival server on 1.21.11 with crossplay so you can join from different platforms.

    The main twist is mcMMO so leveling skills makes mining and grinding feel more fun. The economy is fully player made with no shops and no server currency so trading is up to the community.

    PvP is off by default but you can toggle it if you want to mess around with friends. You can also claim land to protect your builds and everyone gets a personal vault for more storage.

    They take safety seriously since blocks are logged and staff can check and restore items using join leave death inventory backups. There is also an anti cheat that alerts staff fast when someone trips it.

    They say there is still lots of unexplored land and the server is meant to be long term. It originally started as friends only in October 2025 and opened to the public in December 2025.
