This is a public survival SMP that has been running a long time and it really shows. The world started back in 1.14 and it still keeps going so builds and bases can actually last.
The gameplay is mostly vanilla and it is meant to feel simple and fair. There is no pay to win and there is no server money plugin so players just play survival and trade how they want. You can claim land to protect it and griefing is only allowed on stuff that is not claimed.
The server is open with no whitelist and both Bedrock and Java players can join together. There is random spawn around the world and you can use rtp to get far out and then set your own home. The overworld and nether are long term and are not planned to reset so it is good for people who like to stay in one world.
There is a public shopping district you can visit in game and players can apply to run shops there. The server uses tools like CoreProtect to help keep things safe and there are free server events that give cool prizes. Overall it feels like a chill survival community that wants a stable world and no pay to win stuff.

Oz SMP is a small survival server that feels like a family. The new season just started on a fresh world so everyone is still building up and exploring.
The spawn is spooky this season and as the holidays get closer it will shift into a nightmare before Christmas style. The server keeps a vanilla feeling but has some quality of life plugins like one person sleep teleport to spawn and home chest sorting and combining chest plate with elytra.
The economy is inspired by Hermitcraft. Diamonds are the main currency and players build little shops and use an honor system that is strongly enforced so people do not steal.
This is an 18 plus inclusive community and it is LGBTQIA plus friendly. Players have many playstyles like builders redstone engineers and explorers and there are people from all over the world so someone is almost always online.
The rules are pretty simple. No destruction or theft of other peoples stuff and pvp only when everyone agrees. The server allows nether roof travel and updates along with paper for version 1.21.10. It is Java with Bedrock crossplay and the vibe is super chill.

I found this server called Cozy MC and it really feels like a calm survival world.
It is vanilla survival and the world feels like singleplayer but with other people running around. There is no big fancy spawn or lobby. You just play Minecraft like normal survival but with a nice group of players.
The community is all about inclusivity and kindness. Stealing and griefing are not allowed and doing that gets you banned. The staff have tools to fix grief and also tools so players can check what happened to their containers to help find and report theft.
PvP is only allowed when both players agree so you do not get randomly killed. But you can still find people doing friendly duels if you enjoy that.
When you first join you cannot break blocks or pick up items right away. You have to go online and type the rules command and then the discord command and read the rules section carefully to learn how to start playing. This is how they keep the server safe and welcoming and make sure everybody reads all the rules before they really join in.
Overall it feels like a chill survival place where people want to be nice and play together without drama.

This server is called Prominence II Hasturian Era and it feels like a world with its own story.
When I joined it felt like a survival place where people care about the world and the time period they are in. The Hasturian Era name makes it feel like you are playing inside a chapter of a bigger history.
The community seems chill and focused on living in this era together. You work on your builds explore and try to fit into the theme of the server. It feels more like a long term world instead of a quick minigame.
