This server is called MinecraftOffline and it runs on Minecraft 1.21.11. The world is permanent and they say it never resets so everything you build is meant to last.
The server uses custom plugins and it feels like they really care about performance and stability. It is hosted in Finland so it is super good for European players who want low ping.

This is a hardcore Minecraft server where death is permanent and getting banned is part of the game. There is no whitelist and the world never resets so every block that players place and every battle that happens stays there forever.
The server has been running for about ten months and more than fifteen thousand players have joined. People make alliances and build empires. Other players raid bases and start wars where every single kill matters a lot because if you die you are gone.
There is a player made wiki that records a lot of the server history. It even has a list of every player who has ever joined. So what you do on the server can actually be remembered.
The gameplay feels close to vanilla but there are some custom features that make hardcore better. Player heads and written books cannot be destroyed. There are also statistic leaderboards so players can see who is doing the best.
Even though it is semi anarchy the community is said to be pretty welcoming and mature. People make friends and play together but there are still scary killers running around so you always have to stay alert.
The server usually has around twenty to forty five players online so there is always something going on. You can build huge megabases with a group or play alone and try to become a feared hunter. The server supports Java and Bedrock on version 1.21.10 and 1.21.11.

United Lands is a Towny Earth SMP that feels like a big world map where players build towns and nations and fight over land. The map is scaled so you can claim big areas and shape your own empire with your friends.
When I joined I noticed the server has lots of custom features. There are custom items and custom gear and even different foods like avocados and mac and cheese. You can pick from 7 different jobs and they each have skill trees so you can level up and get stronger in your own way.
The economy is fully player run. There are no admin shops at all. Players use warps and make their own shops and you have to hunt around for the best prices or try to become the one everyone buys from.
There is pvp and also roleplay so you can either be a builder who makes cool towns or a fighter who joins wars or both. You can join an already made town or nation or start your own and try to become powerful.
The server is not pay to win. The store is only cosmetic so people who spend money do not get gameplay advantages. It feels fair because everyone plays on the same level.

This server is called PGMC World and it has three different ways to play. You can go on a survival server if you want the normal Minecraft adventure. You can go on a creative server if you just want to build with no limits. You can also go on a vanilla server if you like the game with no extra stuff.
You switch between the modes with simple commands like server survival server creative and server vanilla. It feels easy to understand and you can just pick what you are in the mood for.
From what I can see the server is made for people who like classic Minecraft. You can grind in survival or experiment in creative or stay pure in vanilla. It seems like a good spot if you want choices but still want everything to stay close to normal Minecraft.

This server is called Mephistos Inferno SMP and it is all about survival roleplay and lore. The whole world is built around Mephisto who is a demon of chaos and the main villain. You can fight against him or join him and that makes the story feel really important.
The server has a bunch of quality of life features like player heads voice chat and graves so your stuff is not just gone forever. They also have their own custom mod that is made only for this server. It helps with roleplay and gives special roles like Mephisto. The mod is still fully vanilla compatible right now.
If you stay active and make good lore for your character you can get custom roles with custom abilities. The owners plan to add more content like boss fights in the future. The server is semi hardcore so if you die to another player or in combat with one or fall into a player trap you get banned for 2 days. That makes PvP and traps feel risky and exciting.
The whole place is very lore driven and roleplay focused and Mephisto adds a chaos factor that pushes the story forward. It feels like a server for people who want a serious story and are fine with death having real consequences.
