    This server is a friendly place with active players who just like playing together and having a good time.

    It is cross play so Java and Bedrock players can join the same world. The gameplay stays mostly vanilla and only adds a few quality of life things like proximity chat and vein miner plus McMMO.

    The server stays on the latest Java version and it also lets older clients connect. It is heavily moderated so griefing is almost not a thing.

    It feels like a solid long lasting server with a real community and they want more nice and positive gamers to join.

    I found a brand new crossplay SMP that just started and it has a lifesteal twist. It is made to feel close to vanilla with only minimal plugins.

    The player count is low right now since it is fresh which makes it a good time to join early and try to rise above everyone.

    There are very few rules so it feels more free like how a lot of people want an SMP to be.

    5tarRock is a small Java semi vanilla server with a geopolitics style. It has a big custom map that is made to feel realistic like a real planet with real geography.

    The server also uses in house made plugins to help it feel like medieval times. The owner is redoing the server and wants to shift away from an older playerbase so the community stays more active.

    NoHackAnarchy is a semi anarchy survival server that has been up for almost a year. It is about maximum freedom and only a few rules so players can grief raid build and just try to survive.

    It supports Java and Bedrock and also console players like Switch Xbox and PS4 or PS5. That makes it easy to jump in with friends even if everyone is on different platforms.

    The big thing is no cheating. Hacked clients xray even xray resource packs are not allowed. Exploiting bugs crashing the server or trying to lag it is not allowed. Macros and automation tools are also not allowed and chat spam gets auto kicked.

    I found a survival server with a small community around 90 players and it is opening very soon.

    It runs on 1.21.11 and it is almost completely vanilla. The only changes are anti x ray and some admin stuff.

    They also use a register plugin so cracked players can play and nobody can steal their name.

    The cool part is the community decides what the next season should have so it feels like players actually matter.
