This is a Skyblock server where your islands never reset and you can keep expanding forever as you grow.
It has custom cave systems with multiple levels. Ores regenerate and there are custom mobs plus bosses to fight down there.
Fishing is a big deal here with over 100 unique textured fish to catch and collect. There are also 60 fishing mobs to kill.
There are hundreds of quests so you always have something to do and a clear progression path. Seasonal payouts happen too so you can compete or just play casual.

I found GOOMB SMP and it is a vanilla survival server on amplified terrain. The world got reset about a month ago so it still feels like a newer season and people are building fresh bases.
At first the world border made players live closer together but the border expanded so now there is a lot more room to spread out. The End is open and players started an egg hunt event so you can meet people while doing something fun.
The community seems really active with players advertising shops and sharing terrain screenshots and talking about trades. Voice chats are often full of people just hanging out and planning stuff.
