You can play in different ways like doing pvp and warfare and conquest or building castles towns and defenses. You can also focus on trade diplomacy or be a mercenary. Solo players and large groups can both work here.
The gameplay is fair and it is not pay to win. Donations only give cosmetic or quality of life things. Donators do not get combat or economic advantages so skill and strategy and teamwork are what really matter.
