All Outta Blocks is a community centered SMP that feels like a Hermitcraft style world. It is made by the players for the players and the goal is to keep that vanilla experience while still growing when the community wants it.
There is a diamond based economy with a shopping district. You will also see public builds and bigger community projects. Proximity chat is a big deal here and most players actually use it.
There are homes plus some cosmetic and quality of life plugins. New stuff gets added from community requests and polls.
The server is Java only on Minecraft 1.21.11. It is whitelisted and it is 18 plus only. You can usually find 5 to 20 people online during the day and there are lots of regular active players. Diamond gear matters a lot here because you cannot upgrade it into netherite. That makes good tools and armor feel way more valuable and worth grinding for.
The rank path goes from A to H and each rank opens a new mine with different ores. There is also Parolee and Citizen so you can leave the prison and explore the free world and get shards for prestige.
Money is not just one boring method. You can make cash through mining and custom fishing and there is a mob arena that opens at the first prestige.
You can rent cells and plots to build whatever you want like farms storage or just something cool to show off. There are illegal items too like special crops plus weapons chainmail armor and potions. Guards can confiscate them or you might get PvP or sent to solitary.

ArcticMC is a new survival server that just launched a couple days ago. It mixes Towny and factions so you can build a town and claim land then team up with allies or fight over territory.
PVP matters here but they push an honor system for fights and it is explained in their Discord rules. It also has McMMO style skills so you level up things like mining and combat while you play and unlock special abilities.
The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks big and realistic with mountains and valleys. There are also custom items like furniture and it is entity based so they plan limits per chunk to help with lag.

I found a Fabric SMP that is trying to fix that problem where you join and everyone is already stacked and the admins are gone. This one is meant to be a fresh start so you are not showing up late.
It is a 1.21.11 Fabric semi anarchy server with light mods. It is mostly small quality of life stuff so it stays smooth and the rest is just part of the game.
The world is still new so there are no huge empires yet and no untouchable players. There are places to explore and loot to restore plus secrets hidden around.
