This is a US based vanilla Java survival server with a growing community. It has clean chat and it feels made for families and kids too.
People here like gathering resources and working on big building projects. You can also just build on your own if you want and still fit in.
PvP is optional and only happens when both players agree. When you die your stuff can stay in a death chest for 72 hours. There is also grief protection and a huge world map to explore.
The owner says they are serious about stability and backups for at least 10 years. They also use it to play with their kids and other families have started joining too. There is a FamilyLink feature to help families play together more easily.
This is a scripted lore SMP where people join to be part of a story. You can help make videos or write scenes and act out moments with other players.
There are civilizations you can join and there are also enemy teams so it feels like sides are forming. It sounds like the main point is teamwork and story drama while you play.
WizeCraft is a mature 21+ SMP that is semi vanilla and built for chill players who like community and decent people. It is a long term forever world kind of place where you can focus on builds and just relax.
It has a player driven economy with diamond currency and there are shops near spawn so it is easier to get started. Some farms exist to help kick start progression if you want that.
Right next to spawn there is a Games district with player made minigames for solo and multiplayer. There are also redstone gambling machines if you want something silly to do.
The server uses applications and a whitelist to help keep out griefing and stealing. It is a small group with about 20 active players and usually a few online at a time.
It is on Minecraft 1.21.11 and it is self hosted with 99.5% uptime. The Ender Dragon is already beaten and elytras are around.

Creative Central is a work in progress Minecraft network that has almost 10 years of lore and worldbuilding behind it. It is tied to a shared canon called Project Everything so it feels like a bigger story world.
There are two main modes right now. The Creative Plots mode gives you huge 512×512 plots with free WorldEdit and only small limits on blocks and command setups. It also includes a head database and armor stand tools so you can customize builds and decorations a lot.
The Earth mode is Towny on a 1 to 500 scale Earth map. You can start towns to claim land then use the in game economy to keep your place running. You can also make nations to team up under one name and grow territory. PvP exists in some parts but it is not the main focus and it should not block your progress.
The server says it is strictly not pay to win and it avoids microtransactions. There is a 10 dollar sponsor rank if you want to support the server and get cosmetic perks.
This server runs a big modpack that tries to mix everything together. It is made to feel like a better SMP with both PvP and PvE happening.
It has combat mods and addons like TacZ Superb Warfare Simply More and Simply Weapons. It also has creative stuff like Create and Macaw's Furniture so you can build cool bases and machines.
If you like harder fights there are Apotheosis bosses. For tech players there is AE2 and Mekanism so you can grind progression and build big systems.
They recommend 10Gb of RAM and the minimum is 4Gb.
