Foggy Willows is a server for people who want real vanilla survival and nothing else. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no plugins and no datapacks.
The vibe is simple and the spawn is not trying to be a theme park. You just join and start playing. It is hard mode so nights can get scary fast.
There is no tp and no sethome so you have to travel the old school way. There is also no world border so exploring can go on forever.
The server is always on the latest stable vanilla version and it is self hosted on a purpose built machine. There are no donations and players are expected to handle their own social issues. I found a Skyblock server called Torrent Skyblock and it just launched Season 2. It is cross platform so more people can play together.
The main thing is building up your island and doing custom challenges. There are minions that help you grow and there are dungeons with crazy loot.

There are mystery crates too and you can buy keys with in game cash then roll for different tiers of loot. The top crate can drop the God Spear but it is super rare.
There is also a big boss called the Underworld King and he wears full Netherite. When he spawns the whole server gets an announcement.
