Chilltown is a new SMP that feels really relaxed but still has a challenge. It is for people who like to explore and build cool stuff without the game feeling too harsh.
The server runs in seasons that last about 90 days. Each season the terrain changes so the world feels fresh and more alive. There are custom structures and custom biomes so you can find nice views and more loot while you explore.
There are custom mobs and custom enchants so fights and gear feel different from normal Minecraft. You also get a daily rewards system so logging in feels worth it.
Claiming land is done with chunks so you do not have to mess with a golden shovel. There is a community chest and a community discord so players can share items and talk together.

Origin SMP feels like a real survival world where every move matters. It runs on version 1.21 and uses lifesteal so every fight can change your hearts and your power. The server is not pure chaos. It is semi anarchy with a focus on stories and player choices.
People use proximity voice chat so you actually talk to players who are near you. You can trade plan raids or just hang out and it all feels more real. There are no claims so you have to trust others or fear them. Your base and your alliances are protected more by your relationships than by plugins.

This is a new SMP that started not long ago and it has a cool idea. You can either join the normal pvp side or you can declare yourself peaceful. Peaceful players cannot be griefed or stolen from and they are not part of the pvp scene.
The server runs in hard mode and has a world border from minus 4k to plus 4k. It uses custom terrain generation with tectonic and terralith and all the chunks are already preloaded so exploring feels smooth.
There are a bunch of quality of life tweaks. Only one player needs to sleep to skip the night. Minecarts go super fast at 90 meters per second and use the new experimental physics. You can sit on stairs. Enderman and ghast griefing is turned off and phantoms are disabled.
You can silk touch spawners and also silk touch amethyst buds. Ender pearls are disabled so movement feels different. The server uses purpur software to run everything.
If you like survival with some custom changes and the option to stay peaceful this server feels like a good mix of calm and danger.

SurvivalTales SMP is a new semi vanilla survival server that just opened and it is ready for new players. It has a friendly community based in the EU and the whole idea is to make survival feel better and more fun.
The server works for both Java and Bedrock so friends on different platforms can still play together. The world has custom generation and custom hand made structures in the Overworld the Nether and the End so exploring feels fresh. There are also new mobs to discover which makes the adventure feel different from normal.

Ordinary SMP is a small survival server that feels really cozy. It runs vanilla Java 1.21.10 and it stays updated so you can play with all the new features. The world is survival only and you can just chill build explore and hang out.
The community is tight knit and friendly and players like working together on big projects. There are server wide events like pvp battles build contests and huge community builds so it never feels empty or boring.
The server uses Ledger to watch player activity so if someone griefs or steals staff can check it and fix things. That makes builds feel a lot safer and people are not scared to make big bases.
