The Den SMP is a vanilla inspired survival server made for an 18 plus community that wants a calm place to play. It started on March 1st 2026 and it has 20 plus members with a respectful vibe. The server is hosted in Texas and it supports Java and Bedrock players.
It is whitelisted so you have to fill out a short application before you can join. The goal seems to be long term survival with less drama and more steady community play.
The server has a Survival Guide that helps you find everything. It includes vanilla friendly cosmetics plus custom tags and daily tasks that reset every 24 hours. There are weekly events and community events and there is a leaderboard for weekly monthly and all time stats.

You start out as a human and you can choose to become something more later if you want. The focus is your character and how they react to the world lore and other players.
Most roleplay events are live action so your character is actually there dealing with stuff that happens in the world. Some scenes can be scripted to push the story forward or help with your character development and you can ask for a scripted scene or help run one.
The world feels like it sits between high fantasy medieval and steampunk industrial. There was a big tragedy and the time you join is dangerous.
