MC Bloodlines is a hardcore SMP that feels like those Minecraft civilization experiments you see on YouTube but this one is always up and not just an event.
The server is invite only. Only players who are already inside can invite new people. This makes the population grow slowly like in real life and it keeps out most trolls. It is meant to build a real community where people actually know each other.
There are secret tweaks and mechanics that nobody explains to you. There are no guides. You are supposed to discover how things work just by playing and paying attention. It rewards players who are curious and dedicated.
The server has a built in clan and family system. You do not just spawn alone in a hardcore world. You are always part of a clan and part of a family. Your story connects with the people who invited you and with the people you invite later.
Most clans are trying to grow and are looking for more members. If you want to join you have to talk to current players and see if they will share their invitation codes with you. There is also a wiki page that explains how joining with codes works.

Veigars SMP is a german semi vanilla SMP. It has a few mods that just give quality of life so the game still feels like normal Minecraft.
The server is seasonal and it is inspired by Hermitcraft. So it is about playing together for a season and building up a cool world.
It runs with Neoforge in version 1.21. The owners are hosting a server for the first time so the project feels fresh.
You should be at least 15 years old and you should be active multiple times per week. There is also a short talk to apply so they can see if you fit in.

Lumenor SMP is in its second season and it just opened. The people running it really want new players to join and hang out.
The server has custom biomes and structures so the world feels different when you explore. There are some interesting plugins too but it still sounds like normal survival.
There is lore on the server that has to do with a limit of 5 maces so players can get into some story stuff while they play. It is not just random survival.
The server is on the latest version 1.21.11 and it uses ViaVersion and ViaBackwards so you can join from almost any version you want. Both cracked Java and Bedrock players can join so more people can play together.
Overall it feels like a chill SMP that just started a fresh season and wants more people to join and be part of the world.

This is a new survival SMP server that is still in beta so it feels really fresh and not crowded at all.
The gameplay is mostly vanilla and it has land claiming so your builds can stay safe. It is focused on simple survival and building so you can just relax and play.
The server has a chill and friendly community and people seem nice when you join and say hello. There is not much built yet so it feels like a good chance to help shape the world from the start.
It runs on Minecraft Java 1.20.8 and that is the only version detail I know from the server.

Spells Gears n Bells RP is a modded fantasy and steampunk style Minecraft server. It mixes magic and machines so you can mess with cool spell mods and contraptions at the same time.

This is a small server running the modpack ATM 10 To The Sky and it is made for people who actually want to finish the pack.
The owner keeps it around twenty active players so it stays smooth and not laggy. The vibe is super chill with people just building and doing tech stuff.
There are no banned items unless they literally crash the server so you can mess with pretty much everything in the modpack.
The world is not getting wiped every month so you can settle in and work on big projects without losing your progress. Nobody is begging for money to claim chunks either.
