This is a Hermitcraft inspired SMP that just started season 3 and it feels really fresh and fun.
The server uses Simple Voice Chat so people can talk in game without having to leave Minecraft. There is Audio Player so you can use custom music discs and goat horns. They also use Carpet to add stuff like renewable deepslate and player bots so you can AFK farms.
There are cool cosmetic things like Tool Trims and custom model support plus a server side skin system so you can change your skin with a command. Image2Map lets players turn pictures into maps which is really good for art and signs.
The server has a bunch of datapacks. There are more mob heads and player head drops. Elytra trims and armor statues let people decorate more. Silence Mobs lets you quiet mobs with a nametag. There are smaller blocks in the stonecutter and wood can be used in the stonecutter too.
Recipe tweaks let you change things like dropper to dispenser universal dyeing sandstone dyeing and downcraftable nether wart and ice. Blaze and Caves advancement pack adds over 1000 new advancements so there is always something to work on.

This server is called SurviveWithUs and it is a semi vanilla SMP that feels like old school Minecraft. It focuses a lot on quality of life and still keeps the normal game vibe so it does not try to be some crazy plugin server.
The community is small but really close. Some of the players have known each other for years since around 2019. The whole idea is to make a warm and friendly place to play where everyone can hang out and actually know each other.

LanderYT SMP is a semi vanilla server that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. The world is already six months old and it resets once every year so builds have time to grow and feel important.
The server is focused on being friendly. Griefing and killing other players are not allowed. There is a small staff team that tries to keep peace on the server and on the discord and they listen to what the community says.
There are a few tweaks to keep it fun but still close to normal Minecraft. There is a custom texture pack with things like shop permits custom hats and custom weapons but they only change how stuff looks and do not add extra powers. The only teleport command you can use is spawn in the overworld so people make roads and highways instead of just warping everywhere.
They use a bunch of datapacks that Hermitcraft uses like single player sleep player heads armor statues and some others. Vanillacraft is a semi vanilla survival server that tries to feel like normal Minecraft with friends. It does not have all the crazy plugins that change the game. There are no GUI shops and no economy plugin and no pay to win ranks.
