LumaMC is a survival server built around Towny where claiming land is done through towns and nations. You can start your own place or join other players and build up a real community.
The server runs on Folia so it aims to avoid the usual building or entity limits. It also has mcMMO so you can level skills while you play.
There is a player based economy with trading and supply and demand vibes. You can work Jobs for cash and try to climb the rank system for new titles and abilities.
It has custom coded items with special abilities plus Artmap so players can make map art. There is also a dynamic seasons world where time of day and weather sync to real life for the northern hemisphere.
Fishing is a big deal here with competitions and custom fish. There is a Hoarder event where you sell bulk items for extra money and the top 4 players get rewarded at the end of each event.
The server says it is inclusive for new and old players and it has a roadmap of future updates and events. They also want player feedback.
