This server is called Waychest and it feels like a big shared adventure.
You start out like you are alone in your own private world. It is survival and it is pretty close to vanilla. You can play by yourself or with some friends in what they call a Journey. Every Journey has its own spawn spot and its own progress in the same giant world.
As you explore more you slowly find out you are not actually alone. There are special chests called Waychests and they connect different Journeys together. When you follow them you find builds and stuff left behind by other players who were here before you.
There is a flying minigame too. You can get ingredients to craft a special elytra and then you fly through rings in the world. If you do it right it leads you to another Waychest made by someone else.
The server has discovery based warps so you can fast travel but only after you actually find the warp spots first. Almost all of the non vanilla features are made just for this server.
It is PvE and it feels calm and about exploring and building and slowly crossing paths with other people in the same world.

This is a survival server that feels close to vanilla but with a cool economy system and a really active community. You play survival and slowly build up your money gear and status.
Players can make chest shops at spawn so you can buy and sell stuff with other players. There are in game ranks and even prestige so you always have something to work for. The goal is to become one of the richest and strongest players and make a name for yourself.
The server has land claims so your builds are protected. You do not have to worry about random people breaking your base. PvP is only allowed if both players agree so it is more relaxed and not just constant fighting.
The staff and community do a lot of interactive things. There are frequent polls and monthly events like Base of the Month plus other challenges and community games. They also host events like movie nights One in the Chamber UHC special holiday events and a hardcore style lifesteal server that comes back sometimes.
The rules are simple. No hacking no griefing no stealing and be respectful in chat. PvP is consent only so if you just want to build trade and hang out this server fits really well.

This is a small Minecraft Java survival server on version 1.21.1 that uses a 3 lives plugin. You only get three chances and when your lives are gone you are just out. Because of that every death actually matters and people play a lot more careful.
The server has around twenty active players and most of them are teens. It feels more like a friend group than a giant random server. It is not packed with hundreds of people so you actually see the same players again.
The gameplay is vanilla ish so it still feels like normal Minecraft but with the extra three lives twist. There is voice chat so people talk while playing and it makes it easier to meet others.
They like small content creators and people who want to actually play not just log in once. If you want a survival world where lives are important and the community is small this server fits that pretty well.

This is a brand new vanilla survival server on Java and it feels really clean and simple. You just join and play with other people who like normal Minecraft.
The server uses land claim so you can protect your base and builds. That makes it a lot less scary to build big stuff because random people cannot just break everything.
It runs on Fabric so redstone and farms work like they should. The gameplay is super smooth and it is hosted on a strong dedicated machine so it does not lag all the time.

Rattata SMP is a vanilla style server that is meant for players who are 18 or older. It is run on Paper and it lets both Java and Bedrock players join so more friends can play together.
The server tries to stay as close to normal Minecraft as possible. There is no teleport command and no special loot tables and no custom world generation. It runs on hard difficulty and has a live map and 33 percent player sleep and an optional simple voice mod.
The rules are really basic and easy to understand. Do not grief and use common sense. The community is meant to be mature and chill and focused on building and playing together.
The server is whitelist only and it started on December 26 so the world is still pretty fresh and there is room to grow and build a new community.
