This server is called 1fighter2defenders or 1f2d and it is a wild survival world with no rules at all. There are no map resets so everything people do stays on the map. The server has been running since 2021 so it is over four years old and has had thousands of players join at least once.
Here you can grief build or cheat because everything goes. There are no limits and no protection so you have to be careful and smart. The whole place feels like pure chaos and that is kind of the point.
The main version is 1.21 and it also supports versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.11. If you like long term survival and you do not want rules this server is made for that.

This server is running a special Valentines build battle and it looks pretty intense. The whole theme is about hearts and love but with a twist. You can build a super cute love monument or go full anti Valentines and make something dark and broken.
There are big rewards for the top three builders. First place gets a special event tag a builder wand some rare keys a lot of money and a boost they can choose. Second and third place also get event tags keys money and useful items like wands vaults and spawners.
Everyone who joins the event gets an event tag so you do not walk away with nothing. Winners just get a cooler glowing version. It feels like the server really wants people to be creative and go all out for this one event.
The server is on version 1.21.8 so it is pretty up to date. From what I can see the vibe is competitive but still fun and they really hype up the idea of fighting for the builders crown.

This server is a vanilla style SMP for content creators who want a long term world with other players from around the world. It runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.11 and uses Fabric so it is friendly for redstone farms and big contraptions without a lot of lag.
The server uses quality of life data packs and mods like Simple VoiceChat player and mob heads double shulkers freecam and armor statues with more stuff added on top of that. There is also Bluemap so you can see your builds and other members builds on a map and even check who is online when you are not at your pc.
The server is maintained a lot and restarts multiple times a week to keep lag down but the world does not reset all the time. There are docs and sheets with info any time you need it and a private discord just for members.
Season 3 is planned with a big continental island that splits up the shopping area and the minigame area. The community likes harmless pranks and there will be community events and challenges during the season.
To join you have to fill out an application have a discord account make content on sites like YouTube Twitch or Kick and you must be 18 or older. If you become a member and come back for the next season you also get to help plan themes seeds and what mods or datapacks get used.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy server that tries to feel like pure vanilla survival with almost no rules. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it runs all day and night.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11 and they say 1.21.10 is the best to avoid problems. The world border is huge at 2 million blocks so there is a lot of space to run build hide and fight.
There are no map resets and there is no teleporting and no pay to win stuff. Griefing is allowed and PVP is fully allowed so you always have to watch your back. The only non vanilla thing you can really do is use spawn so people that travel super far do not feel totally alone. Nether roof is allowed and phantoms are removed and only half the players online have to sleep to skip the night.
The rules are mostly about keeping the server stable and not toxic. Exploits dupes lag machines and spam are not allowed. Also harassment and racial slurs in chat are not allowed. Everything else is pretty much up to the players.
If you want a long term world with simple survival and chaos mixed together this server feels like that kind of place.

This is a brand new survival multiplayer server that just started and it is only on day two so everything people build actually matters right now. The world is still really fresh and towns are already starting to form.
The server uses custom jobs so players have goals to work on and a way to feel progression instead of just grinding. There are player shops so the economy is built by the players themselves and people can trade and make their own little markets. With player warps it is easy to visit towns and cool builds so nothing feels hidden or forgotten.
People actually talk here in chat and in voice so it does not feel empty. The owner is Matt who is 22 and he is trying to make a small close community where people recognize each other and slowly build stuff together instead of some huge network or grindfest.
The End is not open yet but it is releasing soon and the first person to grab the dragon egg will get their name remembered at spawn so they become part of the server history forever. The server runs on Java 1.21.11.
