Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server based on a big modpack. It is built around combat skills and magic so it really feels like an adventure game not just regular Minecraft.
The combat is completely changed with new animations and even a dodge move. There is a detailed skill tree and different origins so your character can feel unique and strong. You can find and use custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and divine blessings that are tuned for this pack.
As you explore the world enemies grow stronger the farther you go. There are two main magic mods that give a lot of abilities for both fighting and utility. The overworld the nether and the end all have new biome generation so everything fits the fantasy theme better.
There are hundreds of new dungeons and structures to explore plus five new dimensions to discover. The server also has over two hundred quests that you can do alone or with friends and some of them add extra story and lore about the world. There is even a quest shop where you can spend the coins you earn on useful items.
The pack is made to run well with performance mods to help fps and loading. There are also quality of life things like backpacks and storage systems so playing feels smooth and not annoying.

This is a simple vanilla server that has been running for about two years and it feels like one of those worlds that just keeps growing every day. The players are really into building and the community is pretty active and nice.
The owners really push co op so playing with friends is a big deal here and you actually get rewarded for bringing them along. People work together a lot but it still feels like survival and not some super protected world.
The server has friendly staff and runs 24 7 on a dedicated machine with backups so if something bad happens the world is still safe. It feels smooth to play and there is support if you need help.

This server is a towny survival SMP where players build towns and claim land and just chill. It has towny so you can make your own place with friends and protect it.
There is also a kit pvp arena where the kits are balanced and not pay to win. So fights are more about skill instead of who spent more money.
The server uses McMMO so you can grind skills and feel your character get stronger. It also has jobs so you can earn money in different ways and then use that cash in fair shops and non OP crates.

This is a chill survival world made in the UK that is all about building and hanging out. It is mostly vanilla but has some small quality of life tweaks that just make building feel a bit nicer and more fun.

Sovereign SMP is a Minecraft world built around player politics and law. It feels like a small city where every player can try to become mayor and change how the town works.
There are weekly mayor elections. Any citizen can run a one person campaign and explain why they should be in charge. The mayor is not just for show. They can add or remove laws from an official law book and even make laws that affect certain players to keep things interesting. They can start community projects help fund player shops and set light taxes so everyone helps grow the town.
The server uses a custom currency called resin bricks. The government controls the only Creaking Heart and releases resin bricks through a central bank to keep the economy stable. The Pale Garden is turned off but pale oak saplings will still be given out so people can build with that wood type.
