Our server is practically vanilla 1.8.3, but it has a minor addition to it in the form of special quiz booths that spit out trivia questions, which you can answer for mats/blocks. This server is basically intended to test our capabilities(server load etc.), and this mod/concept that we’re working on.

    Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on 1.20.1 that is made for people who want a long term world that does not reset. It feels like a place to settle in and build for real not just rush and restart.

    The mod list is packed for builders with lots of decoration and building tools. It also has a big farming and cooking focus with a bunch of food mods and you can earn in game currency by doing quests and daily rewards. There is a shopping district so you can set up a shop and trade with other players.

    If you like collecting stuff there is a custom FTB Quests system that helps guide you and gives rewards. There are also magic mods like Botania Hexerei Mystical Agriculture and Ars Noveau.

    Animal lovers have a lot to mess with too since there are mods that add more creatures and pets. The community is small friendly and welcoming and the admin team helps out and keeps improving things. There is also a separate resource overworld dimension that resets sometimes so resources are not limited.

    I found a small semi vanilla survival server that is in testing right now.

    The plan is to fully start in about a week so it feels like a fresh start. It sounds like the main vibe is simple survival with a smaller group so you can actually know who you are playing with.

    Deazlim SMP is a survival multiplayer server where everything feels risky and real. People can raid your base steal your stuff and grief builds so you actually have to think about defense and hiding your loot.

    There are no strict land claims and it is not a forced peace place. You can team up make alliances then get betrayed and come back harder. PvP is allowed and the whole vibe is survival with a competitive edge.

    The rules are simple. No spawn killing so new players get a chance. No hacking and no client mods that give unfair advantages. No duping or exploits. No spamming in chat.

    They also do seasonal world resets so you can start fresh again. It runs on Java edition and they mention Bedrock cross play might be available.

    Semi-Anarchy Vanilla Survival No Resets

    I found this semi anarchy survival server that tries to feel like real Vanilla Minecraft with only a few changes. It started on October 11th 2024 and it is hosted in New York City.

    It stays online all the time and it lets you join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11. They say 1.21.10 is the best to use so you do not run into problems.

    The world is huge with a 2 million block border and it does not do map resets. There is no teleporting and no pay to win. PvP and griefing are allowed so it can get messy fast.

    The only command they allow that is not vanilla is spawn so people far away can get back to civilization. Nether roof is allowed phantoms are removed and only half the players are needed to skip the night.

    They still have some limits since exploits lag machines duping spamming and harassment or racial slurs in chat are not allowed.
