    I found LegacyMC and it is a raw vanilla anarchy server. It is just survival with no rules and no gameplay changing plugins.

    The world is open and it does not do land claims or teleporting. PvP is on and griefing and raiding are allowed. There is no admin interference so whatever happens is on the players.

    The server started in June 2025 so it still feels like a place where you can make a real mark. It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Australia for low latency for Australia and New Zealand.

    It also says there is no pay to win and no monetisation. Donations are not required and they will not be requested. Anyone can join with no whitelist and there are no applications or queues.

    The server is Java only on Minecraft 1.21.11. It is whitelisted and it is 18 plus only. You can usually find 5 to 20 people online during the day and there are lots of regular active players. If you want friends there are groups looking for new members.

    It has quality of life stuff like home commands and teleport requests so you can meet up faster and get back to your builds.

    The world uses custom generation so the terrain feels different when you explore. There is also proximity voice chat which makes towns and adventures way funnier.

    They run daily events and the server keeps getting updates and improvements. The staff is active and it is meant to be balanced and a bit competitive.

    There is a Horse Companion system too. You can level your horse by traveling and improve its stats and customize it and handle passengers.

    The Pen is a classic prison server that is trying to bring back the older prison vibe before everything turned into super OP stuff. You start simple with leather and iron and you have to work your way up by crafting your own gear.

    Diamond gear matters a lot here because you cannot upgrade it into netherite. That makes good tools and armor feel way more valuable and worth grinding for.

    The rank path goes from A to H and each rank opens a new mine with different ores. There is also Parolee and Citizen so you can leave the prison and explore the free world and get shards for prestige.

    Money is not just one boring method. You can make cash through mining and custom fishing and there is a mob arena that opens at the first prestige.

    You can rent cells and plots to build whatever you want like farms storage or just something cool to show off. There are illegal items too like special crops plus weapons chainmail armor and potions. Guards can confiscate them or you might get PvP or sent to solitary.

    Staff are part of the roleplay with Guards and Wardens keeping order. The server also listens to player suggestions and tries to build a close community.

    ArcticMC is a new survival server that just launched a couple days ago. It mixes Towny and factions so you can build a town and claim land then team up with allies or fight over territory.

    PVP matters here but they push an honor system for fights and it is explained in their Discord rules. It also has McMMO style skills so you level up things like mining and combat while you play and unlock special abilities.

    The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks big and realistic with mountains and valleys. There are also custom items like furniture and it is entity based so they plan limits per chunk to help with lag.

    The vibe is meant to be calm and friendly and more atmospheric than chaotic. It sounds good if you want to grind build explore or just hang out with chill players.
