Craftiverse is a Minecraft server you can join and play with other people.
It looks like a community focused place where players link up and hang out while they play.
If you want a simple server to hop on and meet others this one is trying to pull you in.

Normal Survival is a chill survival SMP where Java and Bedrock players can play together. It also supports cracked and premium so more people can join.
The server vibe is friendly and family safe with no cursing. Staff keep chat clean and the rules are strict about no griefing and no stealing so your builds do not get wrecked.
It is made for long term play with no planned resets. You can build big projects and farms and not worry about losing progress.
There is land claiming for protection plus a player driven economy with shops and trading. The server has weekly events and community builds and it gets updates based on feedback.
Survival features include custom crafting, tree capitator, vein miner, multiple homes, and teleport requests. You can pick up villagers and passive mobs and keep inventory can be toggled. Spawners can be moved with silk touch and stacked for bigger farms and phantoms are disabled.

Minemist is a small community SMP I found that is hosted in Sydney Australia so it is made for Oceania players who are tired of high ping. It runs Java 1.21.11 and it opened on November 25th 2025 so it still feels new and everyone is starting fresh.
The whole vibe is Towny with towns and micro communities plus war and geopolitics. The world is bordered and there is a server story too. There is a strange server entity called Misty who watches everything and shows up in different forms while keeping the server running.
Progression is a big deal here. Jobs help you grow and there is a culture system with progression ranks. Enchantments are not just easy villager shopping because villagers do not provide enchanted books. You have to craft vanilla enchantments with culture tablets or use the enchanting table or loot them from the world. Mending takes work and endgame gear is slowed so when someone is fully geared it actually means something.
There are also custom enchantments for extra combat power. It has chest locks plus an auction house player warps and player vaults. War is a thing but it is not meant to be a heavy griefing server and it sounds pretty relaxed.

I found a Minecraft server that is run by someone who has hosted for years so friends can play together.
It works fine when they join on the same computer using local connection but people outside could not join through the external address.
They ended up fixing it by adding a new allowed rule in advanced firewall settings for the new Java version and then it started working again.

This server is on Season 3 and it is lifesteal survival with griefing and pvp. It feels chaotic but it is not anarchy.
Hacking is not allowed and people who do it get punished. Spawn killing can happen so you should be ready when you load in.
You can join on Java or Bedrock so more players can get in and fight.
