ArcticMC is a brand new SMP that started a couple days ago and it feels pretty chill. It is a survival server that mixes Towny and factions so you can build a town and claim land then make alliances or fight over territory.
PVP matters here but it is not just random chaos since they use an honor system. The rules explain how it works so fights stay more fair.

Waystone is a small whitelisted Java SMP on 1.21.11 that has been on the same world since 2 December 2025. There are no resets and no seasons and no economy so it feels like a place you can actually settle in.
It is hermitcraft style with towns starting to form and a community where people know each other. PvP is consent based so you will not get jumped and land claims help keep builds safe.
There are no teleport commands. You travel with waystones around the world so exploring matters and the map feels alive.
