This is a Jujutsu Kaisen style Minecraft server called Kokushin. The whole world is about sorcerers and curses and only the strongest really matter. Everything feels very hardcore and it uses a perma death system so if you die it actually means something.
You can try to be a lone wolf and master jujutsu by yourself and become super strong. Or you can look for power through other players and build an empire over jujutsu society. There are clans with rank systems but right now the server is only accepting rogues so you can not join a sorcerer clan. You have to be a rogue or join a rogue organization.
The server has wars and claims and rogues and different events. There are bounties and bosses. You can fight on a tower for really good rewards and fight bosses to get their skills. There are raids you can conquer and a lot of the gameplay connects to the lore.
The whole server is very lore based and not limited to only JJK even if that is the base of it. It feels like a serious world where your choices and your deaths actually matter and where power and story are a big deal.

This is a small vanilla style SMP called TMKASE. The owner wants it to be chill and stress free. The idea is that you just relax and play Minecraft without drama.
It is on Java and runs the newest version. The server is mostly vanilla but has very light quality of life stuff like maybe night vision. There is no pay to win which is really nice.
The community is meant to be small like around ten to twenty players. The rules are simple. No crazy power tripping staff and no giant rule book. Just be cool and you will fit in fine.

SmileMoreCraft is a new survival SMP that is made to last for a long time. The map is not planned to reset so every build you make can stay. It runs the latest 1.21 plus versions on both Java and Bedrock so a lot of different players can join together.
The server is mostly chill survival and it is not a pvp server. There is grief protection so your base and your stuff can be safe while you work on big projects. The staff is active so it feels like someone is keeping an eye on things.
There are jobs you can do to earn money and a custom MMO style system so your character can feel stronger the more you play. You can follow quests and also use a separate resource world when you just want to mine and gather without wrecking the main map.
The server has custom pets custom items and custom fishing so there is more to do than just vanilla stuff. There are also custom mobs custom models and over 400 balanced custom enchantments but it still feels like regular Minecraft with extra features added in.

This server is called Experimental Hardcore and it is a hardcore anarchy world with weird events that keep changing how you play. The world gets random constraints and different experiments over time so the game does not stay the same.
At the start the world border was super small and every day it grows bigger. When someone went to the End a destruction timer started and after that nobody could go to the End anymore. More events like that keep happening and they can limit or unlock new stuff you can do.
The server is hardcore so if you die you are done and death is forever. But there is a way to be revived if other players help you. When you die you become a ghost stuck near your own player head. You float there in a special spectator mode and cannot go through the ground. If someone finds a special revival location and has your head and enough resources they can bring you back to life.
As the border gets bigger you can find old builds and strange structures from past players. Inside there can be loot danger and small bits of story. The way you mess with these places or items can change things for you or the whole world.
The server is anarchy but with rules against hacking and exploits. Griefing killing and stealing are allowed. Crystal pvp and anchor pvp are turned off. Java Minecraft version 1 is used.
It feels like a world where your choices actually matter and the server keeps shifting around you.

Halcyon is a medieval style Lands PvP server that tries to feel like old school Minecraft but on the newest version. It was started by a postgraduate medievalist and it really focuses on immersion and survival.
The world is handmade and the rules make the game harder on purpose. Health only comes back when you use beds and you cannot just skip the night. There is no teleportation so you actually have to walk or ride everywhere. Because of that players make long roads waystations and even hidden underground railways.
Crops and saplings only grow in certain biomes. This makes trading super important. Different places get their own strengths and identity because not everyone can grow everything.
The server uses the Lands plugin so players can make their own factions and set up custom ranks and permissions. Success is more about bravery creativity and teamwork instead of using exploits and crazy automation.
