Kronos SMP is a big Earth server where the whole map is the planet but at 1 to 500 scale. The continents are huge and the oceans are actually important.
Everyone starts in a fresh world with no old empires. There are no stacked nations and no ruined land. You pick a real location then you claim it and defend it or try to take someone else’s place.
The server uses factions that grow into nations. It is all about geopolitics and not just grinding. People focus on planning diplomacy alliances and wars. There is backstabbing and real drama that changes the world.
The economy is run by players. Power comes from land and population and not from kits. Wars are real with real borders so territory can really change hands instead of just being for show.

This is a Minecraft server called CinderCivs and it is a vanilla plus geopolitical roleplay world. The server has been running for over two years without a world reset so everything players build and change can last for a really long time.
Players create nations that fight wars make alliances trade and do diplomacy. Each nation is different and has its own government and power struggles. Some of these nations have been around since the beginning so new players will see old builds and history everywhere.
The world has a big claimable area that is ten thousand by fourteen thousand blocks. There is also an expansion area that gets reset every big update so people can explore new chunks and mine fresh resources. The nether is one to one size and there are faster railways and paths so traveling is easier.
There are custom recipes that help builders and a plugin that is made just for roleplaying. Almost everything on the server is driven by players instead of admins. The community is active and likes creative projects like writing lore drawing characters making maps and flags and building big things together.
If you want a long lasting world a lot of roleplay and nations that actually matter then this server is built for that style of play.

This server is called Calamity SMP and it is all about factions and building and pvp.
Each faction gets its own custom emblem and the cool part is that players help decide what they look like. The same goes for custom weapons. The players decide what kind of weapons they want to use so it feels like the server is actually made by the community.
You do not have to pick from a small list of boring presets. You can be who you want to be. You can be the hero of your own story or you can be the villain and cause chaos. It is really about making your own story with your friends or enemies.
The owner says they are always taking suggestions. If you see a bug or some problem with how the server is running you can send them a message and they will try to fix it. They want everyone to have as much fun as possible so the server keeps changing and getting better.
