PVP matters here but it is not just random chaos. They use an honor system and it is explained in their Discord rules so fights feel more fair.
It also has McMMO skills so you level up while you play and unlock special abilities as you progress. The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks wild with big mountains and nice valleys.

MinecraftOffline is a laid back EU server that still has real danger when you fight. It uses custom plugins to make survival feel different without being confusing.
You can set a home and teleport back when you want. You can also send teleport requests to other players. Night can be skipped when players vote for it.
The big twist is lifesteal. You can gain hearts by killing other players and you lose hearts when you die. If you run out of hearts you get banned. New players get a one hour grace period so they will not lose hearts.
PvP has rules built into the server too. Commands get blocked during fights and combat logging gets punished by replacing the player with a killable NPC that can drop their items. There is also some anti speed cheat protection and chat spam blocking.

I found a semi anarchy SMP that is starting Chapter 1 and it feels like chaos is about to happen. You can survive build fight trade or just blow stuff up and betrayals are allowed.
It has custom items and a money system that actually matters. It also has classic commands like /rtp /tpa /home and even stuff like /roulette and /coinflip.
There are crates with awesome loot and the big one is the Ideology Crate that sounds mysterious. It says no pay to win and nothing is tied to real money so it feels fair.
