Welcome to The Janitor’s Closet!
Originally started as a small survival server 2 years ago, over time we set up servers to have a more worldbuilding and roleplay aspect to them.

The reason we are telling you this is because over the course of these 2 years we have learned from mistakes and have set up a new server that’s purpose is to provide worldbuilding via all roleplay, nations, lore, and drama

We want players to join and build their own stories, and see how theirs interacts with others in the grand scheme of things. Everybody is welcome!

Joining our Discord is required, everyone who joins does have to fill out a quick app after reading the rules, this is so that we filter out any bad folks and goons.

Joining the discord is also jus fun, we have a nice community and once in a while we host an event jus to bring people close and remind everyone that we’re all pals at the end of the day

    LegacyMC is a vanilla anarchy survival server that is all about freedom. It feels like classic Minecraft where you just spawn in and the world does not hold your hand.

    There are no rules and no land protection so people can raid and grief and fight whenever. PvP is on and there is no admin interference.

    It is made to be long term with no resets. The server started in June 2025 so it is still a newer world where you can make your mark.

    It is hosted on dedicated hardware in Australia so it is meant to be low latency for Australia and New Zealand players. There is no monetisation and no pay to win and donations are not required and will not be requested.

    There is no whitelist and no queues and no extra steps. You just join and play and whatever you build or lose is on you.

    Chill No Reset Towny SMP

    I found GamerHub Towny and it feels like a chill survival place where people build towns and just hang out. The server is new and it started as a streaming server but now it is trying to grow into a bigger community.

    It says there are no resets so your builds are meant to stay. Griefing and stealing are not allowed so it is more relaxed and friendly for new players.

    There is ingame ranking that uses ingame money. It also has dynmap so you can see the world. You can use player warps and player shops and there is a sell only server shop too.

    It also runs jobs and MCMMO. The server usually has a few players on and it gets most active during Twitch streams when it can hit 10 plus online. It supports version 1.21.10 or similar and it also has a Bedrock port.

  • The Pen MC Old School Prison Grind

    The Pen MC Old School Prison Grind

    The Pen MC is a classic prison server that feels like the old days. It is barebones and grindy and it pushes that 2014 style vibe where you work for everything.

    There is no instant sell and you do not just get overpowered armor. You mine then you smelt your ores and you have to travel through PvP zones to sell. It makes money feel earned and it can get tense.

    After you rank up from A to H you can reach Parole and keep going with prestige. The cool part is you are not stuck with one grind. You can focus on mining or use a custom fishing system or fight in a mob arena with boss waves. There is also a bakery system where you farm and bake cookies with custom mechanics plus long term cookie quests and leaderboards.

    Players can rent cells and plots and run player shops. There is an auction house and bounties and parkour challenges. Guards enforce contraband rules and there are illegal crops that are high risk and high reward.

    It also tries to avoid pay to win since premium stuff can be earned through gameplay. The whole server feels built around economy balance and steady progression instead of instant kits.
