Iperios is a modded Minecraft server that runs the Allthemods 10 pack on version 5.4. The whole idea is about building nations and making your own style of government.
You can start your own nation and decide your rules your laws and your ranks. If you do not feel like leading then you can just join a nation that already exists and be part of their community.
To join you first get whitelisted through their staff. New players get some starter info then a staff member helps you get going and gives you a beginner kit so you are not lost at the start.
The server expects you to have the correct ATM10 5.4 modpack installed before you join. After that you just follow the instructions from staff and then you are free to play and grow your nation.

Foggy Willows is a server for people who want real vanilla survival. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no add ons at all.
The spawn is not fancy and there is not a bunch of stuff to read. You just load in and play.
It is hard mode and there is no teleport or sethome. There is also no world border so you can keep traveling.
Players are expected to deal with their own social problems. If you like doing things the vanilla way and you want all the weird quirks and challenges this server is built for that.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy survival server that tries to feel like pure Vanilla Minecraft with only a few changes. It launched on October 11th 2024 and it is hosted in New York City.
The server stays online all the time and it lets you join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.11. It is recommended to play on 1.21.10 so things run smoother.
The world is huge with a border set to 2 million blocks. There are no map resets and no teleporting. There is no pay to win and griefing and PvP are allowed.
The only command that is allowed is /spawn so people far away are not stuck alone. Nether roof access is allowed phantoms are removed and only half the players are needed to skip the night.

The map is split between noble houses that control their own land. Each house sets taxes for citizens and they still answer to the Crown since the Crown owns all land.

It also has custom enchantments so players can push past normal vanilla limits. There are QOL enhancements too so you can play in new ways to get an edge.

I found a Humans vs Zombies server where real players are on both sides. Humans are trying to survive until the timer ends and zombies are trying to infect everyone.
Humans can hide in stash spots with sandbags and laser mines or they can run around the arenas with pet bats and jetpacks. Zombies get a bunch of classes to pick from like a Fat Zombie that can break into stash spots and a Hunter Zombie that can jump around super fast.
There is also a custom grinding system with smart bot zombies that drop stuff like bundles and power ups. Every month the top mob killers can win prizes like VIP ranks and more.
