PuffMC is a chill Towny SMP server that feels like normal Minecraft but with some smart upgrades. It is made for people who want long term survival and a community that actually plays together.
The server uses Towny so you can claim land build towns and grow them with other players. It is PvE focused so you are not forced into PvP and you can play at your own pace. It is vanilla plus so the game still feels like regular Minecraft but with some extra features.
There is custom fishing with levels better loot and events so you can really focus on being a fisherman if you want. There is also custom farming with improved crops tools and farming mechanics for players who like growing stuff.

BeeSMP is a new semi vanilla survival server that is being built for players who are 18 or older. The server is not open yet but the owners are already looking for people who want to help shape it from the start.
The gameplay is planned to be survival with light quality of life improvements so it still feels like normal Minecraft. There will be Simple Voice Chat support so players can talk while they build and explore which makes it feel more like a real hangout.
The community is supposed to be chill and mature. The staff want players who like long term worlds creativity and working together. They are asking for ideas for features rules and events so the server can be shaped by the people who will actually play on it.
It will be a whitelisted SMP on Java 1.21.10 with active staff who are involved with the community. If someone wants to get in early and help decide how the server is run this looks like a good place to do that.

This is a chill vanilla server called JabSMP. It is for both Java and Bedrock so more people can join together.
The server has a laid back style. Players hang out and play survival and build up their own lore and stories. It is not super sweaty. It just feels like a place to relax and make friends.
What I like most is the focus on awesome lore and the members. People here seem to care about the world and the stories they create in it.

This is a hardcore SMP where death is permanent and there are no map resets or revives. The world has been running for many months and thousands of players already joined and many of them are gone forever.
The map is huge and PvP raiding and griefing are turned on everywhere. You are never really safe and every step you take could be the one that ends your run.
The server feels like vanilla but it uses plugins that make hardcore more intense. You can get player heads see dead players ender chests use simple voice chat and there are advanced stats and other stuff that keeps track of what happens.
Players make bases and alliances that sometimes control the server for a while and then they still die and lose it all. Nothing is scripted. All the drama wars and betrayals come from the players themselves so the stories feel real.
There is even a wiki that players work on that shows the history of the server and tracks every player who joined lived and died.

Harvest SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a chill Hermitcraft style world that just started a new season so everyone is still pretty fresh.
The server is trying to build a really good relationship between the players and the admin team so it feels fair and fun for everyone. It uses a bunch of quality of life datapacks like better AFK display fast leaf decay multiplayer sleep double shulker shells armor stand posing and some small crafting tweaks. There are also things like miniblocks vault restocks and the dragon dropping an elytra and egg.
They usually build a shopping district a minigame district and even a casino style area. The server likes to host events like minigame nights and building contests to decorate spawn and people just hang out a lot.
This season they are taking it slow on progression and they even block off the End for a while so new players do not feel super behind. They have optional mods like a world map a custom head shop and a status mod for content creators.
The community is pretty mature with players from around 18 to over 50 and they welcome all building styles and skill levels as long as you want to be part of a friendly survival world.
