Konohaven SMP Season 4 is a chill survival server that feels like a small friend group hanging out.
The server runs Java 1.21.8 with Fabric and is mostly vanilla. There is no flying no teleport commands and no paid ranks. It is set to hard difficulty but it still feels cozy because fire tick enderman griefing and phantoms are turned off. There is single player sleep so nights go by fast when someone goes to bed.
There is a diamond based player shop economy where people can make their own stores and set their own prices. The staff only step in if things get toxic. There is a live map and some quality of life mods and you can use the Simple Voice Chat mod if you want but you do not need any mods to join.
The community is the main focus. People hang out in voice chat do Minecraft events karaoke nights holiday events and community build projects. There are custom items and hat models with a lightweight resource pack so some rewards look unique but the pack is optional.
You can play together in groups or just do your own solo thing. Players are mostly from the US Canada and Europe so there is usually someone around to talk to or trade with. The server uses BlazeandCave's Advancements so there are tons of extra goals to chase and ways to show off what you did.

Misted Lands is a new Minecraft roleplay server that is just starting up and the team is small but really into the project. The world is dark and cursed and the lore is a big part of how the server feels.
The story is about Anya who was a kind healer that people turned on and called a witch. She was killed by zealots and her father Yosif was broken and blamed everyone. His grief brought a huge magical wall that sealed the land and made the dead rise again. Now zombies skeletons huge spiders and other nightmare things attack over and over. Daytime is a short break and night is super dangerous and the survivors are stuck inside this barrier.
The server uses RPG mechanics like classes and leveling so your character can grow over time. There are also quality of life mods to help with transport sorting maps crafting recipes farming and building so the game feels smoother to play.
This is a roleplay server where you can talk in character or as yourself. You can use a voice chat mod or just type in normal chat. You do not have to stay in character all the time so it is more relaxed but still focused on story.
Players can interact with each other and help shape the lore of this cursed land. The idea is that the community slowly builds the story of how people survive in a place where the dead never rest and hope is very weak.

The server is Java Edition on 1.21.8 Fabric and you can also join with a 1.21.7 client. It is set to hard difficulty but it is mostly vanilla style with no flying no teleport commands and no paid ranks. Lodestone is a Minecraft worldbuilding and geopolitics server that is going into closed beta. It is about towns and nations and war and trade so it feels like a big world where players fight for power.
The server has Towny so players can form towns and nations and go to war with other groups. There are chest shops so you can set up stores to buy and sell items using chests and signs.
There is a special feature called Spice Trades where you harvest spices and sell them at spawn. The environment you build in changes the spice quality so good land becomes super important and people will fight over it because it makes the economy stronger.
The server also uses Auraskills where you level up a lot of different skills to unlock many abilities. It changes how you play since you keep grinding skills to get stronger.

I found this server called CaveMC and it is all about living underground. The entire overworld is a huge cave and there is no normal surface at all. Everything is generated with custom world gen so it still has different biomes and resources and structures but all of it is below ground.
The server is semi anarchy and survival so it feels pretty brutal. You have to be really smart to stay alive and keep your stuff. It is not peaceful at all and only really resourceful players will do well here.
Season 2 just started so it is a fresh start for everyone. There is also a new thing called the Wasteland Dimension. It is not just another biome. It is a big new area with its own map and special features. In the Wasteland you can find brand new gear that is powerful and exclusive. There are huge mega structures to explore and they hide secrets and good loot.
The Wasteland also has its own currency and that makes a new kind of player economy and trading. There is a new spawn made for this season so when you join you see a new starting area that fits the Wasteland theme.
Overall it looks like a tough semi anarchy cave world with a crazy underground overworld and a big new Wasteland Dimension for exploration and gear and trading.
