MinedHype is a public survival SMP that has been running for years and it feels really stable and long term. It is mostly vanilla Minecraft and it is on version 1.21.10 so it feels up to date.
There is no whitelist and no pay to win stuff so everyone starts the same. There is also no money plugin so trading and shops feel more natural. You can claim land for grief protection and the server uses CoreProtect so they can check what happened if something goes wrong. Grief is allowed only if a place is not claimed so if you protect your base you should be safe.
The world is huge and there is no world border. The overworld and nether are long term and not planned to reset so you can build big projects without worrying they will get wiped. New players get spawned randomly in a big area and you can also use rtp to teleport far away and then set your home in a comfy spot.
There is a web map so you can see the world from your browser. There is also a public shopping district and anyone can try to get a shop there by using the in game command. The server runs free events with prizes so players have stuff to do together.
Chat reports are disabled and the same owner has run the server for about six years with a lot of unique players so it feels like a steady and chill community SMP.

MysticSMP is a tiny chill server with a few people who just want to play Minecraft and relax together.
Right now there are about five players and they are looking for more buddies to hang out with. Everyone seems nice and the vibe is just playing survival and talking and having fun.

This server is called Maboro Light and it is a vanilla style SMP with a big world that is 20k by 20k blocks. It runs on Minecraft version 1.21.11 so it is pretty up to date.
The gameplay is mostly pure survival but there are some small plugins and datapacks that make it feel nicer. There is proximity chat so you can talk to people only when you are close to them in game. There is also a plugin to protect your builds so random players cannot just break your stuff.
For extra fun there are datapacks where all mobs drop their heads and players also drop their heads when they die. So you can collect heads and make little trophy rooms or just mess around with them.
The community is Arabic but they welcome anyone who is 18 or older. It feels like a chill adult server where people want to explore and build and just hang out in survival without crazy mods.

This is a small semi vanilla survival server where players organize into teams and build up nations together. The whole idea is to survive and grow your group while also getting into some pvp.
The community is pretty tiny right now but it is growing and they really want new people who like working in teams. It feels like everyone is helping shape what the nations server will become.

Sacreo SMP is a semi vanilla server where the whole point is to chill and make friends while you play Minecraft.
The server is set up so both Java and Bedrock players can play together. There is also a proximity voice chat mod so you can talk to people who are near you in game which makes it feel more like you are all actually hanging out.
The main goals on Sacreo SMP are pretty simple. You build cool stuff. You grind the game. You just hang out with other players and get to know them.
