What is Hunger Bound?

Hunger Bound is a hardcore SMP for those who want a real test. You start with 1 heart and can only get stronger by eating new foods. No easy mode here. Just pure Minecraft for the brave.

Core Features

• Start with 1 heart (2 HP)
• Gain health by eating different foods. Each new food gives +1 HP
• Max out at 42 HP (21 hearts)
• One death resets your progress
• Three deaths means auto-ban (time gets longer each time)
• Eat the same food three times? Get hit with Hunger, Nausea, or Poison
• Eat new foods for temporary buffs like Speed, Strength, and Regeneration
• All tracked by a custom advancement tree
• Progress saved per world, even after restarts
• World resets each season for a fresh start

Hardcore Systems

• Death Ban: Three deaths means a ban. Starts at 6 hours, doubles each time
• Revival System: Bring back banned pals with a craftable Orb of Revival using player heads and rare loot
• Death Chest: When banned, your head goes in a chest with a sign showing your name, hearts at death, last food eaten, and days survived

Brand New: Custom Guild System

• Create and manage your own guilds
• Team up for survival or take over
• Promote, demote, and organize your crew
• Set a guild home, use custom chat, and invite others
• Form alliances or rivalries with other guilds
• Allies can toggle PvP on or off for battles or peace
• Guilds have their own bank and home rules

Survival, PvP, and Community

• PvP is always on. Fight or ally, your choice
• Griefing, traps, and stealing are fair game
• No land claims, no kits, no pay-to-win
• No combat logging
• Just join—no installs needed

New Player Onboarding

First-time players get a custom in-game book that shows:

• How to earn hearts and survive
• How buffs and debuffs work
• Death bans and revivals
• Using the guild system
• Tips for early survival and food variety
