It supports Java from 1.13 to 1.21.x and it even recommends 1.21.11. Bedrock can join too and console players can get in through adding the listed friend.
The big rule is no hacked clients and no cheats and no xray even from resource packs. They also do not allow exploiting server vulnerabilities or trying to crash the server or lag it on purpose.
