Rosedalean SMP is a newer Minecraft world that is trying to grow with more people. The server is for players who want to join a community that is not already super established and crowded.
The server is 18 plus and it is whitelisted so people have to apply first. It uses add ons to give enhanced vanilla features so you do not need to install mods to play. There is simple voice chat and a blue map so players can see how the world looks as it gets explored.
The community is focused on factions builds and events. Players can join a faction or make their own and try to become the strongest group on the server or just build a cute village together. There are special events like a Christmas secret Santa that help bring everyone together.

This server is called Ethis and it is a semi vanilla SMP that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. It runs on Fabric 1.21.10 and is hosted in Germany. The world is pretty simple and close to vanilla with no tpa commands no land claiming and no homes so you travel and live in a more natural way.
The community has been around for about five years. People there know each other well and try to be inclusive and friendly. Some players work on big builds and redstone projects. Others just mess around and play for fun. You do not need to be super good at the game you just need to be kind.
They use a voice chat mod so you can walk up to people talk for a bit and then run off again if you want. There are events and game nights both in game and in their Discord to keep people inspired and to help everyone hang out and build together.
To join you have to fill out a solid application. After that there is a small voice call so they can get to know you and you can get to know them. They do this to keep out toxic players and keep the good vibes. If you want a simple survival world where you can make friends and play long term this server is made for that.

This is a small Cisco DragonFyre server that feels like a chill group of friends hanging out and learning the modpack together. The owners are starting fresh and want around 6 to 8 relaxed players. You can join solo or bring a friend and everyone gets put into duos.
Each duo makes their own base and does their own thing. There is no griefing allowed and players are expected to use FTB team chunk claims to keep stuff safe. The whole idea is to progress through the mod, do quests, explore and just mess around without everything being super serious.
PvP is always on so you can fight outside of events but the rule is to not be a jerk about it. Sometimes there will be organized PvP events with rewards and maybe some light betting to make it more exciting. Skill level does not matter. New players and cracked players are both welcome as long as they stay respectful and chill.
The vibe is relaxed friendly and fun. The owners want to build a small community of people who enjoy modpacks and are open to talking about new mods or even swapping modpacks later if everyone gets bored.

This server is called 1fighter2defenders and people also call it 1f2d. It is a survival world where there are basically no rules. The map never resets so everything people do stays there.
You can grief and you can build and you can cheat. The owners say everything goes so you have to be ready for chaos and danger all the time. If you like safe and quiet this is not really it.
The server has been running since 2021 so it is over four and a half years old and thousands of players have joined at least once. That makes the world feel pretty old and lived in.
The main version is 1.21 but it also supports versions from 1.17 up to 1.21.10 so a lot of players can connect with different clients.
There is also a reddit community where people hang out and talk about the server. They have ways to contact staff if you need help but the actual gameplay is full anarchy.

Prosperia is a cozy survival server that feels like a small friendly world. When you join it is pretty easy to get started and people seem really welcoming to new players.
The server is vanilla style but it has custom terrain and structures so exploring is a lot more interesting. You can claim land so your builds stay safe. There are also things like advanced enchantments and disenchant so you can mess with gear in more ways.
You can take jobs and level skills with things like MCMMO. There is an auction house plus virtual spawners and upgradable hoppers so farms and trading can get pretty crazy. The economy is mostly player driven so shops and trading with other players are a big deal.
Combat uses the old 1.8 style so fights feel fast and classic. Overall the server is chill for building farming and exploring and it has enough extra features to keep you busy for a long time.
