New Dawn SMP is a long term vanilla style server that wants people to build explore and create together. It feels like a chill place where you can actually finish a big base or town instead of restarting all the time.

The world is planned to last around 8 to 12 months so it is made for megabuilds and long projects. There is a diamond based economy and there are areas for shops games and minigames so players can trade and hang out.

The server uses some small tweaks like Vanilla Tweaks datapacks armor posing and a timber style plugin that makes cutting trees easier but it still feels like normal survival. There are survival minigames Minecraft events and also game nights that are not Minecraft.

The community is family friendly and focused on being mature and creative. It is whitelisted and uses an honor system so people are trusted and gameplay is not restricted by a ton of barriers. The rules are simple but clear with no griefing no stealing and no toxicity.

There is a Discord that connects to in game chat so people can stay in touch even when they are not online. The server supports both Java and Bedrock so more players can join and play together. It is made for players who want a relaxed but still ambitious SMP where builds matter and the time you put in really counts.
