Who are we?

Altitude is a community-centered survival network. We’re one of those servers you come to call “home”. We are your place to get together with friends and relax. Survival is our focus, with a few features suggested by the community to make things more interesting! We originally opened in 2015 and we’ve started a new world for every major Minecraft release since then, excluding 1.16. Altitude is intended for older players, but all are welcome!

    Crying Skies Norse Lore Roleplay

    Crying Skies is a Java modded Minecraft lore server with a vibe inspired by Norse mythology but the story is made fresh and original. It is built for people who want roleplay that actually matters.

    The server runs as a living story where everyone is part of the saga. What players do can change how the realms feel over time so it is not just background lore.

    There is a custom world with big custom builds and structures spread around. You can explore areas that are like different realms hidden across the map.

    It is modded to boost immersion and exploring and storytelling. There are also mods that add new weapons. Simple Voice Chat is required so you can talk to people nearby during roleplay.

    The server is planned to open at the end of March to early April.

  • The Den SMP Adult Semi Vanilla Survival

    The Den SMP Adult Semi Vanilla Survival

    The Den SMP is a vanilla inspired survival server made for an 18 plus community. It is whitelisted so people have to apply first and the goal is to keep things mature and respectful with less drama.

    The server is based in Texas and it supports Java plus Bedrock so more players can join. The community has over 20 members and it is meant to be long term so you can build explore and just hang out.

    A big part of the server is the Survival Guide that helps you find everything. It has vanilla friendly cosmetics plus custom tags and daily tasks that reset every 24 hours.

    There are weekly events and community events. You can also check the leaderboards for weekly monthly and all time stats.

    For safety they use CoreProtect to help with griefing or stealing. There is also a Dynmap so you can see places like homes shops and towns. There is a Mobdex too where you try to discover rare vanilla mob variants and fill up your encyclopedia.

    New Towny Factions SMP With Honor PVP

    ArcticMC is a new SMP that mixes Towny and factions so you can build a town and claim land then team up or fight for territory.

    PvP matters here but it is not just random chaos because they use an honor system and the rules explain how it works.

    It also has McMMO skills so you level up as you play and unlock special abilities as you get better.

    The world uses tectonic style generation so the terrain looks big and realistic with mountains and valleys.

    They also added custom items like furniture that is entity based and they plan limits per chunk to help with lag. The community is meant to be calm and friendly so you can grind build or just hang out.

    Cobblemon Tech Magic Modpack Server

    I found a modded server that runs a big custom modpack that is basically cobblemon with a huge tech and magic side too. They did a recent restart to fix issues and remove some overpowered stuff so it feels more fair.

    There is a spawn area and some npcs. Player shops are being worked on right now so trading should keep getting better.

    The pack is stacked with tech like storage systems and big machines and building automation. It also has a lot of magic mods with spells and upgrades and more loot style progression.

    They want everyone to be respectful and just have fun with whoever you meet. They also say you should have at least 16 GB of ram and it can run fine if you tweak your settings.

    I found a new Earth Minecraft server that is trying to build a big player base over time.

    The main goal is a player run economy where people can trade and build up their own stuff.

    There is also an online Earth map you can use to see where you are in game which is pretty helpful when you are exploring.
