This server is a vanilla style survival world that is pretty new and still growing. It is made for people who actually want to stay for a long time and build a history together.
There are no crazy plugins that change the game. Players build shops and trade with each other so the economy grows slowly and feels natural. There are no land claim plugins so people are expected to choose peace instead of being forced by the game rules.
The staff has strict rules against griefing stealing and harassment. The rules are enforced the same for everyone so no one gets special treatment. There is also active moderation so people who try to ruin the fun get dealt with.
Java and Bedrock players can both join so friends on different platforms can play together. There is optional proximity voice chat which makes talking to people near you feel more real and fun.

This server is built around Infinite Islands and you never lose your progress to resets. Your island just keeps growing as you play and you can keep building it up for a long time.
There are custom cave systems that go through multiple levels. Ores regenerate so you can keep mining and there are custom mobs and bosses down there. It feels way more like an adventure than normal caves.
Fishing is actually a whole system here. There are over one hundred unique textured fish to catch and collect and there are a lot of fishing mobs to fight too.
The server has a ton of quests and progression so you always have something to do and some direction if you want it. You can try to compete for seasonal payouts or just play casually and still be fine.
Islands are profile based so if you get bored of one island you can just start another and swap back any time.

AvalonEarth is a geopolitics style earth smp where players build nations and fight or live in peace. The map is a 1 to 500 scale so there is a lot of space for new countries and towns.
The server runs Towny which lets you claim land and make towns. Anyone can start a nation because you get starter money when you join. You do not have to grind first just to create something.
There are lots of wars and conflicts here so if you like pvp and battles this fits you. If you do not like fighting you can still live a peaceful life and try to avoid the wars.
You can make money with jobs farming and fishing and they are adding more ways soon. The first season started in September and a second season has already begun with many new players and a growing community.

This is a small modded Java server that feels really relaxed and chill. It is run by a couple friends who just want a calm place to play with other people who are 18 or older.

Golden Nations is a semi vanilla Minecraft server that is all about nations politics and battles. It feels like a geopolitical world where players create countries make alliances and break them when it helps their goals.
You can form a nation write rules for it and deal with other leaders. Diplomacy and strategy really matter here. Every alliance and every betrayal can change the whole server.
The economy is run by players. You can sell things like crops and ores but most items and power come from trading production and what nations decide to do with their resources.
War is super risky. If you die in an official war you get banned for 24 hours and your character gets fully reset. That means leaders have to plan carefully and battles are intense because losing actually hurts.
There is custom fishing with special loot so even fishing can help your nation get rare materials and important items.
There are no elytras and no villagers so you cannot just fly everywhere or get infinite trades. Travel borders terrain and player made systems are important again.
The world is 5,000 by 5,000 so it is pretty tight and nations run into each other fast. This makes early diplomacy conflict and cooperation happen all the time and every bit of land can be a strategic spot.
